"Listen, I'm not saying that I would date Professor McGonagall...but I'm also not not saying that."
"James Potter!" Lily scolded, giving her boyfriend a harsh nudge in the ribs, causing him to spill half his spiked pumpkin juice on himself as she failed to conceal her laughter.
"You really can't blame the lad, Lils," Sirius added in, Evelyn's eyes narrowing at him as she rested under his arm. "Minnie is kind of hot."
Now it was Evelyn's turn to give her boyfriend a nudge. "Are you being serious?"
"Well, I'm not being Peter now am I?" he teased earning groans from the rest of the group. "Oh come on, the serious Sirius joke is hilarious!"
"Maybe it was the first time you made it six years ago," Marlene spoke, looking unamused as she continued to weave small braids throughout her girlfriend Emily's hair. "Actually, on second thought, it wasn't even funny then."
"Piss off, McKinnon—oh, thank Merlin you're back, Remus!" Sirius chirped as the lycanthrope and his girlfriend reached the top of the astronomy tower stairs, their arms filled with an abundance of snacks and sweets, courtesy of the house-elves in the kitchen who have quite the fondness for the Marauders and their friends—and like to express their fondness in the form of yummy treats. "I'm being bullied, Moony!"
Evelyn shook with laughter under the arm of her totally-not-overdramatic boyfriend. Like the angel she was, Holly placed a warm chocolate cauldron cake in front of Evelyn, her mouth watering as the delightful smell filled her senses. "Remind me again why I'm dating Sirius and not you, Holls?"
"See?!" exasperated Sirius, his face flushed from the alcohol running through his system. "BULLYING!"
The boy's nose scrunched up as Evelyn tapped him gently on the cheek before grabbing a fork and digging into her cake.
"She has a point," Holly shrugged, popping down into Remus's lap, nearly toppling them both over.
Remus's eyebrows raised in amusement as he asked, "What about me?"
"Oh, you can still date me too, don't worry, Rem," Holly assured him. "Polyamory is all the rage nowadays."
"Ooooh, can I join too?!" Lily chimed, James looking rather appalled beside her. "Then James and Sirius can have McGonagall!"
"McGonagall?" Holly repeated, looking both confused and slightly disgusted.
Evelyn just shook her head and gently patted her best friend's knee. "It's best not to ask."
