Zay's POV
It's lunch time and we're heading to the safe house. Dalawa lang kami ni Ashley. Hindi ko na pinasama si Az dahil alam kong magtataka ang mga kaibigan niya at hindi rin sila comfortable ni Ashley kapag magkasama sila. Tsk.
Pagdating namin sa safe house, we checked if we arrived here safe at walang nakasunod. After that ay dumiretso na kami papasok.
"DAD!" Ashley excitedly called her Dad after her eyes laid on him then they hugged.
"My daughter. I missed you! But, what are you doing here? You know it's dangerous!" Uncle Dev said.
"I'm sorry, Dad. I just missed you so I planned to visit you here and also I want to protect you too. I don't want to be a irresponsible daughter. Don't worry, I can handle myself." ani Ashley kaya napabuntong-hininga nalang si Uncle Dev.
"Are you okay here, Dad? You're not bored? This place is quite boring." aniya habang inilibot ang paningin sa loob ng bahay.
"No, my dear. In fact, I like it here." He said kaya napatango nalang si Ashley.
"Zay, thank you for protecting me. I missed you, hija." He said then hug me tight as I hugged him back.
"It's my responsibility, Uncle. Just take care of yourself here." I said then he just nod and smiled.
"You didn't change. You're still the same Zay that I knew." naiiling niyang sabi. Tsk.
Sanay na rin naman siya sa ugali at pakikitungo ko eh. It's me and no one can change it.
"Did you both already had your lunch? If not yet then eat with me."
We just shrugged saka sumunod sa kanya tutal hindi pa naman kami nakapag-lunch.
We just ate and talked more until we decided to go back now. It's quarter to one in the afternoon so we need to go now. Nagpaalam nalang kami sa kanya na aalis na.
"I hope you both can visit here again." He said.
"We will." I said saka na kami lumabas at sumakay ng kotse papuntang school.
Dumiretso na si Ashley sa next class niya samantalang ako ay dumiretso na sa chamber.
Isang tao lang ang naabutan ko dito. Si Azhton na natutulog. I wonder where is our trainers. Tsk.
Umupo nalang ako saka pumikit. Wala namang gagawin kaya matutulog nalang ako tutal nakakaantok rin naman.
I opened my eyes when someone knocked on the door. Napatingin ako kay Azhton nang magising din ito. Tumayo nalang ako saka binuksan ang pinto at bumungad sa akin si Az. Lumapit na rin si Azhton saka tumabi sa'kin.
"What are you doing here?" he asked Az coldly. Tsk.
"Pinapunta ako dito ni Dean and also your trainers para ibigay sa inyo 'to." Az said saka ibinigay sa akin ang puting papel.
"Gagawin niyo daw iyan to enhace your chemistry for your production number later. Busy na ang lahat on preparing the tonight's pageant so goodluck sa inyo."
I just nod on him. Kinuha naman ni Azhton ang papel saka bumalik sa upuan niya kanina.
"Where's Ashley?" I asked Az in low voice.
"Library." He answered shortly. I just tsked.
"She's naughty so guard her." sabi ko at naramdaman kong papunta sa gawi namin si Azhton.
"You can leave now. We need to practice." He said coldly to Az.
Napakunot naman ang noo ko ganun din si Az. Problema ng isang 'to?
"Ok. Practice well. Bye!" ani Az saka kumindat sa'kin bago umalis. Tsk.
