Izetta's POV

*One Year Later*

"Again!" I growled and charged Thor as fast and hard as I could. I was still trying to knock him down. Odin was watching my progress and I felt like I had to prove myself. I had to show him I was strong too.

Thor tossed me away yet again and I groaned in frustration, getting back up onto my talons. Odin had required me to train in each of my forms at least once a day. It was exhausting, but I knew it was just one more thing to help me get stronger. "You're getting too emotional, Izetta! Harness it! You must use it well during battle, like New York!" Thor told me. I nodded, panting.

"Yeah...yeah, I got it." We tried again and this time I used my advanced speed and agility to get the upper hand. I was able to get Thor to stumble, but I didn't knock him down. I was still frustrated with this. This isn't even fair! I mean, how in all of the time I train will I be a match for the God of Thunder?

"Alright, that's enough." Odin stepped in. "Izetta, now I want you to start using your powers." I was stunned.

"What?" I asked.

"Father, are you certain of this?"

"We have found out much about her abilities and she has grown well. I trust that she will have control." He turned back to me. "Show me." I nodded and got ready.

"Don't hold back, Point Break!" I joked. He grinned.

"I would never!"

We fought and I used my light shields to block his attacks with his hammer. He broke through a few of them, but I was able to make ones tough enough to deflect it. It was difficult, but I knew I could do it.

After that, I used my fog as a smokescreen. I quickly disappeared and I used my light powers to create arrows for him to block. While he was busy with that, I leaped from behind, landing on his shoulders. He struggled and I tried to knock him down with my weight, but he tossed me off again. I used my wings to correct myself and land on my feet. I growled and charged him, roaring out a battle cry. He let out his own and jumped into the air.

I knew I couldn't take on Thor head-on, so I used this against him. I quickly created water around my legs and dived forward, sliding across the floor before using the slipperiness to roll over and slide back onto my feet, facing him as I came to a halt. He landed and just as he turned to throw Mjolnir, I got ready, creating more water around my tail. I had a plan.

He threw his hammer and, knowing that I myself couldn't catch it, I used my water to catch it. Then I lept into the air, spinning and creating a tornado of water as I swung it around and launched it right back at him along with a heavy blast of water. Thor got hit right in the chest and I sent him flying back, finally knocking him onto the ground hard.

I landed back down, panting heavily but still in disbelief. I had actually knocked him down! I did it! I can't believe I did it! I knew it wasn't over, though. I charged forward and leaped on top of him. My claws were at his throat and I made sure he was totally pinned. I growled at him, grinning and still panting heavily.

"Enough!" Odin called. I got off of him and made sure he was fine. I mean, it's Thor, of course he's fine, but still. I looked back at Odin, awaiting my results. I was nervous. Did I do good? Was it sloppy? Did I do too much? He said nothing for a moment. "Izetta," I flinched. Oh shit. Is he mad? Please don't be mad. Should I apologize? "That was impressive. Well done!" I was stunned.

"I...I did well?" I said, mostly to myself. Thor laughed.

"You have become a fierce warrior, my friend!" He said, patting me on the back in his usual Thor way (which is basically just slapping his palm against my back very hard). I had gotten used to it. I smiled, thrilled.
