Izetta's POV

The next morning, I woke up and I cast a spell to dress in something new. I would have to ask Fawn about materials for new outfits. I dressed a bit differently than my brother and sister. They had clothing that almost reminded me of some strange but weirdly cool mixture of Asgardian clothing and Midgardian clothing. Yet it was also funnily modest at the same time. I actually really liked it. I wondered if I could make some of my own and introduce them to some new clothing style ideas while I was at it.

I listened around for them. I soon found them in a different section of the inner part of the tree. The area seemed to be a modest little den. It was cute and I saw both of them relaxing on seats that looked kind of like bean bag chairs, but somehow made of all-natural materials. The outside was made out of fur and they looked very soft and comfortable. I walked over to them.  They were talking over something as I came to join them.

"So I was thinking we get that out of the way today so we don't have to worry about it until Izetta is more settled in." Fawn offered.

"But I had plans to-"

"Morning, guys." They paused. Fawn smiled.

"Goodmorning, sister. Did you sleep well? I tried to have some relaxingly scented flowers added to your room, but too many can be a bit much."

"I slept fine. Thanks, Fawn. So, what's this about having something you guys needed to get out of the way?" I asked.

"Well, we have some harvesting we need to do. We need more materials before we can start adding places to the tree to help you get more comfortable. Varick knows some areas better than I do, so I need his help, but he wanted to stay behind with you today. Unfortunately, I also can't carry everything myself. Would you mind us heading out for today?"

"Oh! That's all? Yeah, I'll be alright on my own! You guys go do what you need to. I'll probably just explore a little more on my own. I won't go too far from the mountain." Fawn smiled.

"Thank you, Izetta. We'd better be off. You know where the garden is. You can grab what you like for breakfast. We'll be back by sunset." I nodded.

"Sounds great!" She gave me a hug and I hugged back a second later when my slight surprise wore off.

"Well, I guess it's settled then." Fawn let go of me as we turned to Varick. He came over and gave me a hug. "Just stay safe, okay? I know our home is always safe, but dumb things can happen in any realm. Promise me you won't be too explorative, sister." I chuckled.

"I can take care of myself, Varick. I'm a lot tougher than I look. I've survived worse than a day on my own, trust me." He sighed, letting go.

"I just wanted to be sure. We'll be home again as soon as possible."

"Don't rush just because of me. I'll be okay." Fawn started to head out, transforming into her amalgamate form.

"I have full faith in you, little sister. We'd best get going, brother." He nodded and they headed out together.

"We'll see you again by sunset." He promised.

"See you both then."

They left and I was glad to be left to my own devices. I wanted to check this place out from top to bottom. Now was my chance.

I went to get something to eat before I transformed and headed to the bottom of the mountain. I wanted to check out the tidepools. They looked so peaceful and relaxing. I wanted to swim again too. It had been a good while since I'd gone for a good honest swim.

I landed at the tidepools. I happily waded into the water, taking a deep breath and diving under. I smiled as I started to swim with the small fish and enjoy myself. I really did love water. It made sense, of course, especially after Fawn had explained our powers a bit more to me. I hadn't known water was my purest element. I'd kind of known it in the back of my head, but I hadn't really realized just how much I connected with it until now, you know?
