Izetta's POV

My suit was finished and so were the gadgets I'd given Loki. They were small, just wrist pieces, but they held a lot of different features. Hopefully, they would be able to protect him. He also had a sunglasses visor with the same abilities that Tony's had. I had changed them a small bit, but nothing too huge.

"Miss Izetta, would you like to run a few tests? I suggest double-checking that everything is in working order. This suit is fresh out of the prototype phase from Mr. Stark's Mark 42. Most aspects have been fine-tuned by Mr. Stark, but there are a few things that he could not field test properly while you were absent."

I put on the control bracelet as my suit stood in front of me. Tony had added more armor, but it was thinner for me simply because I was a person based on speed and agility. That's why my energy shields were so much stronger.

"Alright, so this thing has a sentry mode now?" I asked.

"Yes. I am still in your suit's systems. I control your suit partially on that mode." I nodded.

"Well, let's suit up and test out what we can. I don't think Tony would appreciate it if I tested out certain things in the Tower."

"No, I would think not."

I stepped into my suit. It fit perfectly. It was a lot more comfortable too. Tony had created a skin suit that would manifest around me once I stepped into the suit, so now I never even had to use my powers to cover myself up. It was great!

"Alright, Jarvis, boosters?" I tested my fully functional purely mechanical suit wings before I transformed into my hybrid self and tested those too. The suit shifting mechanisms were working flawlessly. I brought out my blades and practiced a few moves. I tested a flashbang after stepping away from Loki and warning him. I tested my water control systems, and Jarvis did a functionality check over all of my other weapons. I was ready to go.

"Your armor is certainly far different than what we have." I turned as Loki spoke.

"Yeah, well, Tony is unique that way. You should test out your stuff."

"Um, yes...I should."

"...You don't know how to test it, do you?"

"I don't even know what all you gave me!" I laughed a bit.

"Okay, first are the switchblades. They come out from the armor on your wrists. All of this is connected to your neurons. That means it responds to your brain waves. Just act like you were gonna swing a blade. It'll come out as if you just pulled out your daggers."

He seemed unsure, but he tried it and the blades obeyed. He started practicing and I smiled as he got into it very fast. He was a quick learner. The blades were very natural to him. I grinned as I pulled out my own. He did another move and I swung hitting his blades with mine, but not hard.

"Let's see what you got, troublemaker." He smirked excitedly as we fought each other.

Our blades clashed over and over again. I would dodge one swing and be ready with my own right after. Both of us held the other off perfectly. It seemed like we were at a stalemate until I tripped him up with my tail.

I had brought out my tail blade and he'd done an amazing job holding off all three, but I had tricked him by putting the blade away and wrapping my tail around his leg. I pulled it out from underneath him and did a spin kick to his chest. He fell over and I pinned both of his arms down, aiming my free blade at his throat.

He stared up at me in shock, still catching his breath. Our eyes were locked together. I couldn't help it after a moment. I leaned in and our lips met. I kissed him passionately, letting go as our weapons went away and we focused on each other.
