Thor's POV

I crawled forward as they disappeared and my restraints broke apart. I didn't care how weak my body was, I had to reach them. My heart was in hell as both my brother and my best friend lay ahead of me. No... I grabbed my brother, the grief consuming me.

"N-no...Loki...Izzy..." My head fell weakly as I mourned. There was a blast and that was the last thing I remembered other than the overwhelming pain of losing everything I'd had left.

Tony's POV

"Slow down, slow down. I'm totally not kidding." She laughed a bit at me. Pepper and I were in the park together. I hadn't heard from Izz in a while, but I assumed she was busy. I knew she was fine. Plus a lot had been going on. She told me that she had a lot to do and that I might not hear from her for a bit when I last saw her, so I was trying not to be paranoid. Instead, I was focusing on the next steps in my own life.

"You're totally rambling."

"No, I'm not."

"Lost me."

"Look, you know how you're having a dream, and in the dream you gotta pee?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, and then you're like, 'Oh my god, there's no bathroom, what am I gonna do?', 'Oh! Someone's watching, I'm gonna go in my pants.'"

"Right. And then you wake up, and in real life, you actually have to pee."

"Yes!" I said as she started to get it.

"Yeah. Everybody has that."

"Right! That's the point I'm trying to make. Apropos of that, last night, I dreamt, we had a kid. So real. We named him after your eccentric uncle. Uh, what was his name?"

"Right." She said, nodding as if she didn't believe me.

"Morgan! Morgan." I exclaimed as it came to me.

"I think the name you mean is Izetta. She's our girl. You're missing her again."

"No! No, I swear! I thought we had a real little girl, not Izetta. I thought we had a baby girl, Pep!"

"So you woke up, and thought that we were..."

"Expecting."

"Yeah." I was excited. "Yes?" I asked, wondering if my dream was right. She shook her head with a smile.

"No."

"I had a dream about it. It was so real! I could see Izetta playing with her! I could see it. It was real. I know it was."

"If you wanted to have a kid, you wouldn't have done that." She said, untying my jacket sleeves and tapping my little gear plate.

"I'm glad you brought this up, 'cause it's nothing. It's just a housing unit for nanoparticles."

"It's not helping your case, ok?"

"No, no, it's an attachment, it's not a-"

"You don't need that."

"I know. I had the surgery. I'm just trying to protect us. The future us-es, and that's it. Just in case there's a monster in the closet, instead of, you know..." I struggled with the word.

"Shirts?"

"You know me so well. You finish all my sentences."

"You should have shirts in your closet."

"Yeah. You know what there should be? No more surprises. We're gonna have a nice dinner tonight. Show off this Harry Win-stone. Right? And we should have no more surprises. Ever. I should promise you." She smiled.
