When I make covers I usually have an idea behind them, I also use 2 apps to make them

I use Picsart to create it and I use an app called Phonto for the Text since is has a variety of fonts compared to Picsart

I learned to make covers by trial and error but also by guides/tutorials.

Some tutorials I would recommend are:

An important thing is overlays, this is explained in great detail in 'Cover Tutorials', it's actually how my cover looks the way it does.

My cover for this book consists of all these images together:

Another important part of making covers are textures, you can find textures/templates by searching up "wattpad cover textures overlay". They're the thing you put on last that give the cover some detail. Take example the "The Mangled Hands" cover, I used textures to make it look like this:

To this:

The main reason for that is because of the summary of the book:

The main reason for that is because of the summary of the book:

"When investigating a seemingly harmless case, it leads to a series of events that ends up with her husband, Giyuu, getting kidnapped and Shinobu isn't sure if she'll ever solve the case or get him back. In the end, her only option is to choose one or the other, and she isn't about to let this man who took her husband get away with it too."

If you read the summary and compare it to the title, it's supposed to look like Giyuu is disappearing because essentially he has, he's been kidnapped and there's no telling whether or not he'll come back to her even if she quits the case. As shown, it says she's not about to quit the case which means Giyuu might disappear. Shinobu is crying in the cover for a reason if you couldn't tell (image used for the cover shown below). But who knows, he might end up dead he might not, you have to read to find out.

But that's about it so far.
