Seamus and I have gotten close as time goes by. Well, we're not really that close unlike my friendship with his little sister, but it's a start. We've worked together on various runway and editorial photoshoots, but the most shocking part of that timeline was when I found out that he knew Brianna Antonelli personally. Nagulat na lamang ako isang araw nang biglang bumulaga si Brianna sa studio ni Seamus. I literally froze.

"By the way, this is Guinevere Gabionza," pakilala ni Seamus sa akin nang huminto kami sa pagsshoot. Bumaling sa akin si Brianna at mas lalo kong nakalimutan ang mga sasabihin ko sa kaniya sa sobrang dami noon. Nanginginig din ang bibig ko kaya bago ko pa man pahiyain ang sarili ko ay tinikom ko na lamang ang bibig ko pagkatapos ay nilahad ang aking palad sa kaniyang harapan. Malugod niya naman iyong tinanggap.

My knees weakened when her hand touched mine. I shifted my weight and smiled to ease the tension.

"Nice to meet you! I saw you on billboards and runways most of the time but I never had the time to approach you. You radiate so much positivity whenever you're on the runway. Honestly, you're the first model that I actually like. Take note of that."

Natuwa ako sa kaniyang sinabi. That's the biggest compliment I've ever received from the industry, not to mention that the one who gave it was the first person who made me question my sexuality. Dati ay pinapangarap ko lang siyang makita sa personal ngunit ngayon ay totoong-totoo na.

"Thank you..." I said dreamily. Sabay na natawa sina Seamus at Brianna. "I'm sorry, I got really starstruck. I've had a crush on you since 4th grade. This is too good to be true!"

Brianna tapped my shoulder. "Don't worry, dear. You can take your time. I'm not leaving just yet."

Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. Nilingon ko si Seamus sa aking tabi at hinampas ito sa braso. "Why didn't you tell me you're friends with Brianna?"

"To be fair, you didn't mention to me that you're her fan either."

I fell silent when realization hit me. Well, that's embarrassing.

Terrence was the only one who knew how obsessed I am with Brianna so the first thing I did when the shoot ended is to call him. I know he's busy reviewing for his Civil Engineering Board Exam but I really need someone to tell how my day went. Surprisingly, he answered it after three rings.

"You won't believe who I met today!"

He scoffed. "Hello to you, too!"

"I met Brianna! Pwede na akong mamatay!"

Humalakhak siya sa kabilang linya. Natatandaan ko pa noong mga bata pa lang kami kung gaano ako kapursigidong mag-ipon ng pera para lang makita si Brianna sa personal. Meron kasi siyang mall show noon sa SM Naga para i-promote iyong pelikula kung saan siya ang bida. Unfortunately, we're short on money at that time, and we had to spend our savings on the more important stuff.

But now that I saw her in person... I understand why I had to be stopped that time. I guess some things don't need to be rushed. You just have to wait until the perfect timing comes.

"Magkaibigan na ba kayo?" Pagbibiro niya.

"Hindi ko alam. I mean, we talked about my modeling career and a bit of my life but that's it. She didn't invite me to come visit her yet."

Alam kong sobrang busy niya ngayon pero hinayaan niya lamang akong magkwento tungkol sa mga nangyari kanina. Medyo matagal na rin kasi simula noong nagkita kami dahil pareho kaming abala sa kaniya-kaniyang mga bagay. Miss ko na siya. Ang alam ko may pinopormahan na rin ito ngunit ayaw pa ring ipakilala sa akin kung sino. Saka na raw niya ikekwento kapag nagkita na kami sa personal. Kailan naman kaya mangyayari 'yun?
