It's two weeks further from out match against Stanford. Everything has been going well. We've been practicing regularly, like we're supposed to do because we are here on a soccer scholarship.
The last couple of weeks have been really fun. I've got to know my teammates better. I've got to know Y/n better. She has really become my best friend. She is the best person i've could ever ask for. Even though I still feel like something is wrong.
Sometimes, if she comes back from taking a shower or she's just in the bathroom doing who knows what, her eyes are red and puffy, which is a sign that she was crying. I've never really asked what it is about, but I showed her I am there for her. I hold her when she cries or just when she wants. If she is feeling down, I bring her food.
She has been great to me too. She returns the favour and brings me food if I'm feeling down. She even bought a bunch of chocolate last time because I had my period. It was honestly so cute, seeing her all confused on what she needs to do.
Right now, I am on my bed making some homework. Y/n is at the gym. She goes to the gym a lot. I think it's one of her coping mechanisms. I sigh and read the question again, still not understanding these stupid calculus questions.
Right when I am about to give up, I get a call. It's an unknown number, but I recognise it from somewhere.
"Hello?", I pick up the phone, too curious to ignore it. Maybe it is a killer, telling me I'm about to die in seven days and me and my curious ass decided to pick up the phone. Maybe I need to stop watching all these horror movies with Y/n. It's affecting my brain.
"Hey Mallory. It's Jill Ellis. I'm calling regarding the next camp. It is in a week in Orlando. You are invited to come", I hear the voice of my coach say. She told me before I left for college that she was going to call and hear if I wanted to come. It was a possibility, that maybe I couldn't because of my grades or an injury, but I am fine and all set to go train with them.
"Yes, I will be there!"
"See you next week", Coach says and hangs up the phone. I shriek excitedly. I cannot wait to see all my friends. I really miss them. Now I can go back to joke with Kelley and pull pranks on the veterans and have serious moments with Carli and Christen. Yes! I can sleep in Preath's bed again.
But I will have to miss Y/nn. She has become such a huge impact in my life. I really am going to miss her. Not hearing her laugh all the time. Or her voice. Not seeing her eyes light up when I talk to her. Not being able to act silly with her. It is incredible how in such a short time we've become such good friends. It had only been two months. Who knows what happens further down the road.
The door of our dorm opens and Y/n walks in. She is all sweaty from working out. Her shorts cling to her body and she has a hoodie on? Why would she wear a hoodie? It is very warm there and she works out, makes it even hotter.
"Are you alright? I heard you screaming from down the hall?", she asks concerned. She wipes away a drip of sweat from her face. She looks kind of hot. I mean, if you are into her.
"Yeah. I just got a call from Coach!", I stand up from my bed, my calculus book falling on the ground but I don't care. I would burn it if I didn't need it anymore. It can survive a moment on the ground. "Camp starts next week".
"Aw Mal. I am happy for you. You really missed your friends", Y/n smiles softly at me, showing her dimple in her right cheek. "But I am going to miss you though. Who am I going to annoy now,".
I laugh and shake my head. "Go shower, so that we can spend the rest of our time together".
"It's literally not until next week. We have enough time", she drops her phone on her bed and starts taking some clothes from her closet.
"Yeah yeah. Just hurry up", I wave my hand at her, dismissing her. I sit back on my bed and text my teammates how excited I am to see them again.

She walks out of the bathroom, only wearing boxer brief and a sweatshirt. Her hair is a mess, sticking out to all side from drying it with a towel.
"I am sorry. I forgot to bring pants", she blushes and rubs the back of her head. She takes some sweatpants from her closet and puts them on. She walks over to me and sits next to me on my bed.
I had already started my pc when she was in the shower. I open the webbrowser and search for Netflix.
"What do you want to see?", I ask and turn my head to look at her. It is only now that I notice that her eyes are red and puffy. "Are you alright?".
"Yeah. It's nothing don't worry", she answers and smiles brightly. The smile looks really fake, but I let it slip. She obviously doesn't want to talk about it. I know she said not to worry, but that's exactly what I am going to do now.
"Anyways, do you wanna see Rupaul's drag race? I've been wanting to see it for a long time now, but I've never started it".
"Oh the serie with the drag queens?", I ask as I search it on Netflix.
"Yeah"
"Yes it looks like a good show", I start the first episode and cuddle into her side. She wraps her arm around my shoulder as I rest my head on her chest.
-
"Mal, I've been called up to a club too", Y/n says as she walks into our dorm. She was going to get food. We stopped watching Netflix an hour ago to get food. I took a shower while she went to the store.
"Really? For who are you going to play?", I ask excitedly for her. Maybe she was called up by coach Ellis too? Thar would be a nice coincidence.
"I've been called up by..."
