The Chase (Part 2)

Hours. Hours had passed since you had been stuck in the basement. Hours had passed since an argument had broken out between you and every person had come down the stairs to try and get information out of you. Your face had several red marks where you had been hit, knowing they might turn into bruises soon. 'Can't believe we used to work with them' you thought to yourself.

"Why did you kill the informant?!"

"I told you, I didn't kill her!" A punch to the side.

"Bullshit! you know what? I'm done with this." Delirious said as he walked back up the stairs to grab another person. A few moments later, you heard footsteps as not one, but two people came down the stairs. One of them had brown hair, cut into a mullet. He had several rings on each hand. The other had longer brown hair and was wearing a baseball cap. The one with the mullet pulled up two chairs and put them in front of you as they both sat down. You looked the both of them up and down, seeing they were unarmed, unlike everyone else that had come down.

"Listen, neither of us is here to hurt you. We just want to talk. I'm Kryoz, but everyone calls me John, and this is my friend, Smitty." He said gesturing to the guy next to him. You looked between the two of them as Smitty leaned forward. "From what we've been hearing, you keep saying you didn't kill the informant. If you didn't, then who did?" You chuckled, then looked at them. "Last I was told, it was you guys that killed the informant." They both looked at each other, confused. "I'm sorry, what? Explain please." 

"The informant is dead," Erin said, getting out of her car, limping slightly. "What?!" You said running over to her to help her walk. "The Damn BBS! They killed her. Said they 'Didn't have a use for her' so they shot her." You teared up slightly. The 'informant' was your best friend, so to hear she was dead upset you greatly. "Why would they do something like that?" You asked, helping Erin to sit down. "I don't know, but I know how we can get back at them," Erin said holding up the mini explosive. "We kill their leader. They're meeting someone for a cash exchange on the 23rd street marketplace on Saturday at 2. That's when you get them."  You looked at her. "Why me?" You asked. "They fucked up my leg. I tried to get to them first but, yeah," She said.

"Wait, What? Last we were told, you were the one who killed the informant," Smitty said looking at John. "I think I know what's going on here," You said.

Vanoss had come back down the stairs as John and Smitty stood to the sides. "You finally talking?" He said looking down at you. "Yeah. I didn't kill the informant. Erin did." You said smirking at him. "What? That's not possible." Vanoss said with a frown. "If you don't believe me, call her on my phone, and put her on speaker. Trust me," You said. Walking to the side of the room where they had put your helmet, weapons, and phone, he did as you said and stood in front of you. The phone rang aloud twice before Erin picked up. "Hey, (Y/n), the job done? He dead?" She asked as you put on a fake voice. "Yup. Your plan worked like a charm. The police went after me though so I'm hiding out for the time being." You said and looked at Vanoss's shocked face. "Good. Glad that problem is out of the way. He was with 2 others, right? What did their faces look like when their leader dropped?" She asked, a smile evident in her voice.

"It was Priceless, let me tell you. The shock when I died was hilarious." Vanoss smiled as Erin went silent. "Wait w-what?" Erin sputtered. She had been found out and she knew it. "Tell me, Erin, who did kill the informant?" You said. "I did! I did, ok? She said she was planning on telling them I was going to sell them out to the cops and went to tell them so I shot her." 

"You're Dead, Erin!" You shouted as Smitty went around you and untied your arms and legs. "You wish! I'm leaving Los Santos right now. You won't catch me. Toodles!" She said hanging up. You stood up and grabbed your phone as you typed in a few things.

" 'You wont catch me' " She says, yeah right. Glad I put that tracker on all those months ago. She's headed down 8th Avenue. We can catch her if we leave now." You said Running to where they had put your items. "Shit- wheres my bike at?" You said looking at them.

Vanoss held up a hand and spoke. "Follow me, we set it up in the garage. Smitty, Kryoz, Rally everyone and get geared up. We need to leave now." He said as the two of you went up the stairs.

Putting your helmet on your head you went to your bike, about to start it, when you remembered. "Aw, shit. I'm out of-" "Gas? We already filled it back up just in case." He said as you sent him a smile and started your bike. Vanoss came up next to you as you lifted your visor. He handed you an earpiece as you placed the small device in your ear. You gave him a thumbs up and flicked your visor back down as you sped off.

"She's headed toward the interstate. If she gets there, we wont be able to catch her." You said as you caught up to her 1967 Impala. "On it!" You heard Wildcat and Terrorizer say over the coms as a dark green BMW M3 and a red Pontiac GTO drove up close to the car. You sped up to get in front of her as They both pulled out pistols shooting out the tires causing Erin to spin out into a nearby ditch.

You watched as Erin opened the door to the door and climbed out, running into the woods by the road, pistol in hand. "She's on the run, head into the woods to the north." You said as you hopped off your bike, loading your gun and running after her.

Erin kept running, tripping a few times but recovering quickly. Out of nowhere, you tackled her down, throwing her off balance. She attempted to shoot you, but you quickly disarmed her, throwing her gun to the side. Without another word, you raised your gun and shot her. She went limp as you heard faint shouts of victory over the intercom.
