Walking around the open park, (Y/n) saw all the friends they had made over the past few years. The internet was a strange place, really. Everyone was wearing festive sweaters, sipping drinks as they chatted with each other. 

But, as they glanced around, they saw a face they didn't recognize.

The face was familiar, but it also wasn't. They just couldn't put a name to the face. They just stood off to the side, nobody talking to them. So doing the only reasonable thing, they went to talk to the mysterious person.

Tapping them on the shoulder, he looked over at (Y/n) and smiled. "Ah, good to see you, I was just about to come look for you." he said. Confused, they were about to speak before they were cut off by the stranger. "You're confused, let me explain. I'm The Author, sort of a, what's the word, omnipotent being? I still have limits and such though," he said. "So, like a... God?" 

Looking over he shook his head with a smile. "Nah, I ain't no God, I'm mortal, just like you. I can just, uh, how can I put this softly, go through realities? I guess?" he said, attempting to find the right words. "You should have seen the last one. it started collapsing so I had to leave, and fast. stumbled upon this one and decided to stay." he said with a small smile.

"So, why are you here then?" They asked. "To say thanks of course! You gave me a place to stay and a reality to watch over, and for that I am grateful. I still have things in store though, but weather you see me or not, I'll be here watching over to make sure you don't keel over dead and stay that way. Hell, after this conversation is over you wont remember a thing. They will though," he said with a chuckle.

"They...?"

"Don't worry about it. Now go have fun." he said, ushering them along as they continued as if the conversation never happened.

"And you, reader, thank you. Thank you for reading this story. This isn't the end yet, but one day, yes, it will be. I'll leave this app or website or whatever its called. You may forget I ever existed or maybe I said something that you wont forget, good or bad. But thank you. Thank you for being here. Weather it was yourself you put in these stories or a character you made, thank you for reading. I very much so appreciate it. Every comment, vote, and read motivates me to keep writing these things for you. While yes, I do have old book I want to take down, I wont. I know people enjoy it, and knowing I maybe made someone smile makes me happy. But I'm getting off topic. There are many things to come for this oneshot book. I'm sorry I didn't finish 12 days, however, I do plan on finishing it and making it into its own book. Many good things are to come, but for now, I'm taking a break for the holidays.
