You had been awoken to the sound of growling, And not any kind that you recognized either. It was deeper, and sounded more sinister. Cracking open your eyes, Droid wasn't laying next to you as he usually was. 

Looking up tiredly, the form of a giant wolf towered above you, its eyes and yellowing teeth glinting in the pale moonlight from outside.

Before you could scream, before it could grab you to take you god knows where, something leapt over you, knocking it to the ground. Sitting up and crawling back slightly, you saw the window had been pushed through, the screen and the glass sitting on the ground. 

Two large wolves wrestled on the ground, biting and scratching at whatever fur or skin they could get too. One of the wolves raked his claws down the others stomach, causing it to yelp before worming its way away. It stood in front of the window it had supposedly crawled in through, its ears pointed down.

"Leave. And don't come back."

It growled, jumping back out of the window. In a moments notice, you were held in an embrace, Droid nuzzling into your neck. 

"Droid, what're you-"

"Did he touch you?"

"What-?"

"Did he. Touch you." He tightened his grip slightly, keeping you in place. "N-no, he didn't, what was-"

"Good." He said, laying the two of you back down. "I need to be more careful. You just stay here, I'm going to go get somethings to board up the window. If anyone comes in, scream." he said, placing a kiss to your forehead.

He left the room, and you could hear the door to the garage open. All you could really think was, 'what the hell just happened?'

Less than two minutes later, Droid walked back into the room, several wooden boards rested on his shoulder, his arm holding them in place with his arm, his other hand holding a box of nails and a hammer, you watched in silence as he hammered them in place.

After he was done, he pulled you back into an embrace, practically holding you in place as he laid the two of you down, keeping you close to him.

"Droid, what's happening?"

He tightened his hold, keeping you in place, nuzzling back into your neck. "There's other males around. They want to take you from me." he said, holding you closer. "I'm not going to let that happen. You're mine."

You felt a heat rise to your face, sliding your hand to rest on his back. "I'm not going anywhere, big guy." You said, running your hand though a small patch of fur on his shoulder. "Thank you for protecting me." You said, relaxing into his hold. 

"Anything for you. I love you, (Y/n)."

"Love you too, Droid," you said, finally falling asleep, Droid staying awake the whole night, making sure nothing happened to you, and nobody broke in.

Because he would do anything for you.
