The Sky's Plan For Us

Chapter Six

"Merry Christmas, Claire." Sky greeted me with a smile.

I was frozen in my place. I just stood there shocked. Why was he here? Wala kaming usapan na pupunta siya?!

"Are you done staring?" He asked, smirking at me.

"Hi, what are you doing here?" I asked stuttering still processing everything.

"You told me you were alone." Sabi niya. Hindi naman niya kailangan pumunta!

"But? I thought you were with your grandparents?"

"I'm here now. I brought us food." He smiled.

Pinapasok ko naman siya. Dumiretso siya sa dining area. Pumunta naman ako ng kusina para kumuha ng plato para sakaniya. Naka-ayos naman na yung dining table, nagdagdag nalang akong plato para sakaniya.

"Ayaw mo ba ko dito?" Tanong niya bigla.

"Huh?" I was still so confused.

"Pwede naman ako umalis." Sabi niya when he saw my expression. I didn't want him to leave but I was still surprised. He didn't have to go here naman, he was celebrating with his grandparents!

"No, stay."

We ate the food. Inalok ko rin siya nung pasta na linuto ko.

"Masarap ba?" Tanong ko sakaniya.

"Masarap. Where did you learn how to cook?" He asked. I guess wala sa itsura ko ang marunong magluto.

"By living alone." I chuckled.

We were talking lang through out the night. I looked out of the window and saw that marami paring tao sa labas. There were bazaars and street events sa baba ng condo.

"Gusto mo lumabas?" Sky asked.

I smiled and nodded. We went down and looked around the streets. May ihaw-ihaw pa roon at bumili rin naman kami.

"Ano gusto mong regalo?" Tanong niya sa'kin.

"Wala naman. Okay na akong I have someone to celebrate Christmas with. Thank you." I sincerely said and smiled at him. "Ikaw?"

"Give me a chance."

"What?" I asked confused.

"Give me a chance to prove myself." He said which made me more confused.

"Why do you need to prove yourself?"

"I like you." Pag-amin ni Sky.
