The Sky's Plan For Us

Chapter Thirty

I woke up feeling my weak body. What the hell happened to me? I then realized I was at the hospital. I tried moving but I can't. I felt someone holding my hands. It was a sleeping Skyler. I then remembered that I got shot. Gosh, how long was I unconscious? Gigisingin ko ba si Sky? I then heard someone knock. Saka nagising si Sky.

"Good evening po, doc." Bati sakaniya nung nurse. He just stayed quiet. Mukha siyang patient to be honest, hindi na siya mukhang doctor.

"Skyler..." I called him with my weak voice. Nagulat naman sila sa'kin. Sky's eyes widened when he heard me. Nawala 'yung pagiging antok niya.

"Are you okay? Does anything hurt?" He asked me worriedly. I just shook my head a little indicating no. They did a few test and checked me to make sure I was really okay. I was looking at Sky the whole time. Pagkatapos naman ay lumabas na 'yung mga nurse.

"Sky..." he raised the bed so I was kind of sitting down now.

"Are you sure nothing hurts?" He asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, Sky. How long was I unconscious?" I asked.

"Two weeks." He said.

"What?" Seryoso ba siya? Two weeks na ako dito?

"You don't know how hard was those two weeks, Claire. It felt like hell." He said and sighed. He went near me and kissed my forehead.

"I'm sorry..." I said.

"I thought you were leaving me again." He said, he was almost at the edge of crying. I held his cheeks.

"I promised you I wont, remember?" I asked and smiled at him.

"I don't want you as my patient ever again. Understood?" He asked.

"You're my doctor?" Gulat kong tanong sakaniya.

"I wasn't your surgeon, of course." He said. "I love you. Don't scare me like that again." He said softly.

"I'll try not to." I said teasing him. Kakagising ko palang inaasar ko na siya.

"Aimee Claire Lowell." He said seriously.

"I'm not you wife pa!" I told him and chuckled. "I wont, I guess I'm taking easy cases from now on." I said. He suddenly then kissed me.

"Take light cases or else I'll work for both of us." He said seriously. "Don't you know how scared I was when Dave started screaming my name? Then I saw tito and Cameron, I was praying so hard that nothing bad happened to you. Then you'll surprise me with you unconscious body full of blood?" He nagged me and I only chuckled at him. 

I knew I worried him too much, lalo na dalawang linggo akong walang malay. But he looked so cute this way. He glared at me when he heard me chuckling.
