The Sky's Plan For Us

Chapter Twenty-Three

"Claire..." I looked at the person who called me. I was so nervous baka may narinig siya sa usapan namin ni ate Diane!

"Sky, do you need anything?" I asked and stood up to go near him. "Ate Diane, excuse us." I said and she just nodded. I pulled Sky with me to the kitchen. I gave him a glass of water.

"What do I not know, love?" He asked me. My heart was beating so fast. I can't tell him yet, I was not ready.

"It's nothing, Sky." I told him and smiled at him. 

"Are you sure about that?" He asked again making sure. 

"Wala 'yun." I said. Good thing he didn't ask me further.

"I heard Attorney Cruz is still courting you." He said seriously.

"I told him not to." I said irritated. Hindi ko naman talaga pinayagan si Marcus! Mapilit lang siya! I wasn't even talking to him sa firm. Our friendship was almost broken with what's happening.

"Ako nalang." He suddenly said. 

"Ikaw lang naman talaga." I said softly.

"I love you," He said and I just looked at him. "Pagkatapos ng kuya mo tayo naman magpakasal." He added and I hit his chest.

"Shut up, we aren't even officially back together!" I said laughing at him. I would love to marry him someday, pero we still had problems around us.

"Where am I sleeping?" He suddenly asked.

"Are you sleepy now?" I asked back. Baka pagod sa shift yinaya pa mag-wine nila dad. "You can sleep sa guest room or in my room." I said the last part like a whisper. He smirked at what I said. He then trapped me in his arms, I just looked at him.

"I want to sleep beside you." He whispered in my ears. I knew I was blushing because of that. "I missed you. Let's get married, love."

"Sky..."

"Eight years, babe... Eight years and I'm still deeply in love with you." He said as we looked into each other's eyes. "Hurt me over and over again. But I'll be here chasing you continuously. I'll fight for you, I can't see you in someone else's arms." He said, his face was near mine.

I was conscious since we were at my parents' house. But I couldn't stop him, 'cause I liked what he was doing. He was about to kiss me when...

"Claire!" Kuya then came barging in. Tinulak ko naman palayo si Sky sa'kin. I saw him glaring at me.

"What?" I asked my brother with irritation.

"Saan daw gusto matulog ni bayaw?" He asked.

"Bayaw?" I asked him.
