"Are you going home or doon ka muna kila tita?" Sky asked. We were on our way back to my mom's hospital room. He was holding my hand. Hinayaan ko nalang siya since he wanted to.
"Not yet, I still need to take care of mom. Wala ka bang shift?" I asked him. Ano ba 'to ba't parang never naging busy.
"I don't have yet. Sabay tayo uwi mamaya?" He asked.
"Ikaw bahala, as long as hindi ako storbo sayo." I answered.
"You will never be." He said softly. We arrived at my mom's room. Nandito na ngayon si dad, may inasikaso ata siya kanina.
"Anak, you're here. How are you?" Dad asked when he saw me.
"I'm fine, dad. Umalis na si Marcus?" I asked them noticing Marcus wasn't there anymore. Sky looked at me seriously, I looked back at him with a questioning look. May mali ba?
"May gagawin pa raw siya. Did you two talked already?" Mom asked me and Sky.
"Yes po, tita. We're fine now." Sky answered my mom and smiled at her.
"That's good! We thought iba na magiging son-in-law namin." Pabirong sabi ni mom.
"Mom, we're not getting married." I said.
"Yet!" Sabi naman kaagad ni mommy. I went and looked at Sky.
"Hindi rin po ako papayag na iba papakasalan ni Claire." Sky said and chuckled. My mom and dad laughed at what he said. I looked at him.
"Don't you have work, doc?" I asked raising a brow at him.
"Ito na, babalik na po sa trabaho, attorney. Tita, tito, balik na po ako sa trabaho." Paalam niya sa magulang ko.
"Sige iho." Sabi naman ni dad.
He then looked at me and kissed my cheeks. "I'll see you later, love."
Umalis na rin si Sky para bumalik sa shift niya. I sat and went through my phone since wala naman akong ibang magawa. Mom went back to sleep. Pinapauwi na ko ni dad since may kasama siyang helper at kaya na raw nila si mom. I just waited for Sky to finish his shift. Around 7pm, we heard a knock on the door.
"Good evening po." Bati ni Sky kila dad as he went in. Naka casual attire nalang siya.
"Good evening, iho. Uuwi na kayo ni Claire?" Tanong ni dad.
"Opo." Sky politely answered.
"Oh, sige. Ingat kayo." Sabi naman ni dad.
Nagpaalam lang kami sakanila at umalis narin. Sky held my hand as we left. Sa condo lang ako uuwi ngayon, dinala na ni kuya doon gamit ko kanina. As we were walking a few people were staring at us.
