Chapter Fourteen

Monday came and hindi parin ako kinakausap ni Liv. I guess she's still mad. Hinayaan ko muna siya. Si Cams naman hirap na hirap sa sitwasyon namin. Sabi ko naman sakaniya kay Liv muna siya sumama kasi okay lang naman ako.

I was alone at school. Okay lang naman, I didn't mind it at all. Some other classmates were talking to me asking if I'm fine and sila lang nakakausap ko all day. Good thing they were nice, they also offered me to have lunch with them.

During lunch I sat with them, we were all talking about stuff. One of them was my friend already 'cause lagi kami magkasama sa mga events. His dad works under our firm so we were kind of close.

The last class was already done. I was walking through the hallway with the same friends. I didn't felt lonely throughout the day naman.

"Aimee." Someone called me while I was walking. I turned around to see who it was.

"Hi Marcus." I smiled at him.

"Hi." Lumapit naman siya sa'kin.

"Aimee, una na kami." Paalam ng mga kasama ko.

"Okay, ingat kayo." I told them. Bumalik naman tingin ko kay Marcus. "How are you?" I asked him.

"I'm fine, first day. Ikaw?" He asked back.

"I'm fine. How's Ateneo so far?"

"It's fine, I'm enjoying." He said. Nagkayayaan naman kami kumain, just inside Ateneo. "Gonz? JSEC?" He asked. We picked JSEC naman.

Then my phone started ringing. It was Sky. "Excuse me I need to answer this." I told Marcus and answered the call. "Hey love." I said as I answered the call.

"Hi babe, how are you? 'Di ka parin nila kinakausap?" He asked. Kung ano-ano na call sign namin.

"I'm fine lovie. Hindi pa rin." I told him.

"Are you really okay?" He asked making sure.

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm with Marcus by the way." I informed him.

"Why?" He asked.

"Nagkasalubong lang kami then nagkayayaan kumain." I told him.

"Okay, ingat ka." He said.

"Ikaw rin. I love you!" I said.

"Text me when you get home. Love you." He said and we ended the call.

"Sorry, my boyfriend called." I told Marcus, he just nodded. We already ordered food and sat down.

We were just talking about things. He told me about law school. He also offered to help me in law school and I chuckled with that.

"Hatid na kita." He offered once we were done eating.

"No, I'm fine malapit rin lang naman condo ko rito." I told him. I can manage going home by myself naman. After all, Sky was jealous of him the last time and I didn't want that to happen again.

"Aimee hahatid na kita." Sabi niya.

"Marcus okay lang talaga ako. No need." I told him. Wala rin naman siya nagawa.

Naglakad lang ako pauwi ng condo. It was near Ateneo lang rin naman. It was also still early. While I was walking I saw a familiar car parking sa harap condo. As the driver was going down nagulat ako to see Sky.
