The Sky's Plan For Us

Chapter Eleven

Today was Valentine's day, February 14. Good thing it landed on a Saturday, walang conflict sa school schedules namin. I was at home, my mom asked me to go home every Friday. Namimiss niya raw ako sa bahay. Si kuya lang kasi madalas umuwi. Even though dad and kuya would always fight, kuya would go home for mom. I on the other hand hated going home because of the fights.

I had lunch with my family. Hapon pa kami magkikita ni Sky, since he said we're going out for dinner. Dito niya ko susunduin sa bahay. My parents also had plans for tonight, also my brother.

After lunch I went up to my room to get ready. I already took a bath before lunch so now I just brushed my teeth, did my hair and applied a little makeup. While doing my makeup, someone knocked on my door.

"Come in." I said. My mom then came in. I looked at her.

"Hi, anak. Oh my, you look beautiful dear!" My mom said.

"Thanks, mom." I smiled at her.

"What time ka susunduin ni Skyler?" She asked.

"Around 2pm po, I believe." Sagot ko naman.

"Anong oras naman kayo uuwi?" Tanong niya naman.

"I don't know po." Sagot ko.

"Okay. By the way anak, we have a family outing a few weeks from now. Kasama aunts, uncles and cousins mo." She informed me.

"Okay po."

Lumabas na rin si mommy pagkatapos. I went to the bathroom to change my clothes. I just wore a simple beige dress and sandals, plus my bag of course. Then there was another knock on my door.

"Ma'am, nandiyan na po si Sir Skyler." One of our helpers informed me.

"Okay po, I'll be down in a second." I said in response.

I just had a final look in the mirror and sprayed perfume then went out of my room. As I was going down I saw Sky in our living room talking to my dad. He was wearing a beige polo, black pants and a denim jacket plus some sneakers. Hindi kami nag-usap about sa susuotin namin kaya natawa nalang ako.  He also had a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

"Hi, happy Valentine's day!" I greeted and went near him and hugged him.

"Hi, happy Valentine's day. You look beautiful." He said and smiled. He also gave me the flowers.

"Thank you, Sky." I told him and smiled.

"Alis na po kami tito." Paalam ni Sky kay dad.

"Sige, ingat kayo. Don't go home late." Sabi ni dad.

"Bye, dad." Paalam ko and hugged my dad. Hindi na ko nakapagpaalam kay mom kasi di ko siya makita.

We went to his car, he opened the door for me. I didn't know where we were going. Ang usapan lang namin ay aalis kami. He didn't told me kung saan din kami papunta.

"Saan tayo?" I asked him while he was driving.

"It's a surprise." He said and smiled. Hindi ko naman na siya pinilit.

He held my hand. I looked at him. Sanay na ata siyang hawakan kamay ko. We just talked during the ride. It was a little traffic since a lot of people are going out on dates.

Then we reached Tagaytay, matagal rin kami sa biyahe. This guy really knows how to make someone fall in love with him more. Grabe ang effort! I looked at him seriously driving.
