The Sky's Plan For Us

Chapter Twenty-Two

I was now in Sky's car after crying so hard. We were driving to somewhere I don't know. We were quiet during the car ride. We arrived somewhere in Batangas. We were in front of a house. I looked at him, he smiled at me before going down. Umikot siya para pagbuksan ako ng pinto.

"Where are we? Why are we here?" I asked him as I went down. He held my hand to support me.

"It's peaceful here. We can talk properly." He said. We went inside the house and I looked around. He led me through the back of the house. It was already the beach.

"Who's house is this?" I asked him curiously.

"I bought it." He said casually.

"Who lives here?" I asked him.

"I just bought it since tita said you like the beach." He explained. I just looked at him. He didn't have to buy a house though. Why does he even care? We already broke up eight years ago. I just went and looked at the beach. We were sitting in the sands.

"I'm sorry for hurting you before." I told him. I was really guilty for what I did to him.

"Kahit ilan beses mo pa ako saktan, Claire. Ikaw lang mamahalin ko." He said looking at me. "I'm sorry for what happened recently, I know I shouldn't have acted that way. I know that I should've been professional." He continued.

"It's alright now, Sky." I said softly. I can forgive him over and over again. I just don't know if he could do the same for me.

"I love you, but if you like him I'll let you go." He said, there was pain in his voice. I looked at him. I was hurt with what he said. "Just say that you don't want me anymore then I'll stop."

"I don't like him." I told him. "I love you... I'm scared but I love you." I was scared of the things that may happen again.

"I'm sorry. You're the only one, Claire. I'll prove it to you." He said sincerely. I just smiled at him.

"Please don't give me away..." I told him while tears stream down my face. He didn't answer, but he held my cheeks and caressed them. He then placed a kiss on my forehead.

We slept there for the night. We slept in the same room, we cuddled to sleep. I missed him. The morning, I woke up with Skyler still hugging my waist. God, ang rupok ko talaga para sa lalaking 'to. I smiled staring at his sleeping figure and caressed his cheeks. He looked so peaceful sleeping.

"Good morning." He said with a deep raspy voice when he woke up.

"Good morning. Wala ka bang duty sa LMH?" I asked him.

"I don't have, love." He said. I blushed when he called me love, he just chuckled at my face. "What breakfast do you want?" He asked sitting down.

"I want mcdo." I said pouting, I also sat down. He chuckled at me.

"Then we'll buy mcdo." He said and went near me to kiss my forehead. "I have an extra shirt in the car, I'll just get it." He said.

Noong umalis naman siya, I opened my phone. Ang daming message at missed calls nila Liv at Cams. I messaged them that I was fine. Liv started calling me naman.

"Asan ka bang babae ka?!" Liv shouted through the call. "Hindi ko alam gagawin ko kapag may nangyari sayo!"

"Liv, calm down." I said.

"Calm down?! Asan ka ba?! You weren't answering our calls! Don't you know how worried we were?! Hindi ko alam gagawin ko pag may nangyari sayo! Ano sasabihin namin kila tita!" Liv continued shouting at me.
