Chapter Three

"It's Skyler."

Right, Liv gave him my number. I rolled my eyes at his text. Siya lang pala! He could've at least introduced himself in his first text.

To : Skyler Lowell

"What do you need?"

From : Skyler Lowell

"Sungit, I thought we are friends already."

With that I ignored his message. Us? Friends? Asa siya, isang beses palang naman kami nagmeet. I placed my phone at my bedside table and proceeded to do my night routine before I drifted to sleep.

The weeks passed, we were so busy getting ready for exams before Christmas break and finally today was the last day of exams.

"Hello Christmas break!" Liv shouted once we were dismissed from our last class. "Ano kain tayo? Libre daw ni Aimee." Pag-aya niya. Ako pa talaga manlilibre?

"G!" Tumatawang sabi ni Cams.

I didn't mind treating them anyway kaya pumayag nalang rin ako. Naghanap lang kaming makakainan near Ateneo lang rin. Pumasok kami, sat down and someone took our orders. I just ordered some pasta.

"Kelan alis nila tita, Aimee?" Tanong ni Cams.

"They already left." I simply answered. My parents already went abroad for the holidays.

"Ano na plano mo ngayon? Saan ka sa Pasko?" Cams asked.

"I don't know what kuya planned." I couldn't tell them na wala at mag-isa lang ako. Alam ko naman na mag-aalala sila at yayayain ako sakanila, ayoko naman no'n. Nakakahiya masyado.

"Sama ka na sa 'min sa Paskuhan." Pag-aya naman ni Liv. Hindi niya talaga ako titigilan hanggang hindi ako pumapayag.

Wala naman akong plano but I was hesitant. Plus my ex studies at UST, hindi nga lang nila alam 'yun. Paskuhan was already five days from now. They both had dates and I know I'll feel left out because of that. What more if I bumped into my ex right?

"Oo nga, sama ka nalang sa'min." Sabi ni Cams. "You don't need a date naman. You can just join us. Sama ka kay Liv at Mark or saamin ni James."

Ginawa pa akong third wheel ng mga 'to. I just looked at them. Ayoko naman na ma-hold back ko sila sa fun kasama dates nila dahil sa'kin. 

"Or you could go with Skyler." Suggestion naman ni Liv. I remember that I haven't told them he messaged me weeks ago. I raised my left brow at her. 

"Wala bang girlfriend 'yun?" I asked. He looked cold-hearted. But he was attractive kaya I doubt na wala siyang girlfriend. He didn't stop bothering me with his text but I just ignored him more.
