" Attorney Marquez, can we talk?" Skyler asked. I looked at dad, he indicated me to talk with Skyler.
"I'm busy right now." I said. Hindi naman talaga ako busy, hindi ko lang alam nararamdaman ko dahil sa nangyari kahapon. I was trying to keep my emotions. Hindi ako pwedeng um-oo kaagad after what happened yesterday.
"Dinner? Susunduin kita." He said. Wala ba talaga akong takas dito? Dad looked at me waiting for me to say yes to him.
"Okay. Excuse me." After that pumunta na ko to Attorney Alhambra to get the files I needed. Paglabas ko naman sinalubong ako ni Cams.
"Girl, your ex was here." Cams said whispering. Skyler was pretty popular now, sadyang late lang ako sa balita. I heard people talking about him in the firm when he called my dad 'tito'. People were trying to guess if our family was close with them. He is also going to be owner of LMH, plus his looks made him more popular.
"Yeah, we saw each other." I said not caring.
"Oh, ano nangyari." She asked.
"I guess we're having dinner later." I said casually. Nagulat naman si Cams dahil doon.
"YOU ARE WHAT?!" She asked surprised.
"Keep your voice down!" I whisper yelled at her. I looked around if people were looking at us. I didn't want people to know our connection with them, lalo na that I was in a relationship with him before.
"Bakit may pa-dinner? Pumayag ka naman!" She asked.
"Ewan ko, siya tanungin mo." Masungit kong sagot.
I worked the whole day, by the end of the day naman I talked to Attorney Alhambra about my ideas on how she could win the case. She commended me naman saying I was brilliant. I thanked her and went back to my office. I waited for Skyler's message. Someone knock on my door naman.
"Come in." I said. I raised my left brow seeing Marcus enter my office. Ano nanaman kailangan kaya nito?
"Hey dinner tayo? Ako na maghatid sayo pauwi pagkatapos." Marcus offered.
"Hey sorry, I have plans." I said turning down his offer.
"Okay, hatid na kita doon." Sabi niya naman.
"Susunduin niya ko Marcus." I said. Kumunot naman noo niya.
"Niya?" He asked curiously.
"Skyler." I casually answered.
"Okay na kayo?" He asked.
"No, he offered me dinner in front of dad. I couldn't say no." I explained. Then I received a message from instagram.
