S2E2: About Last Night

Button House had recovered from its Ghost Hunters, and they had all settled back into their usual routines. Usual routines being that Captain would wait at the door just as Alison woke and she would time his run for him. Today, however, something else would happen as she hadn't opened her window.

"Alison!" He tried to yell for her to wake. He cleared his throat and tried again. "Alison! Alison! Alison! Alison! Alison!"

In her bed, still in last night's clothes but with a banging hangover, was Alison, being roused by the Captain's yelling. "Oh my God..." She groaned rolling to her feet.

"Alison! Alison!" He continued to yell. "Alison! Alison!"

"Oh, my God." She dragged her feet over to the window.

"Alison! Alison!" He spotted her opening the window, rushing back to his starting point. "Right. Stand by."

"Ready, steady, go!" She told him, not even bothering with a stopwatch.

"For King and Country!"

Alison crawled over Mike to get back in bed. "Oh, I feel so sick... Can you get me some water?"

"Get your own water..." Mike told her, voice coming out hoarse. "I've lost my voice."

"I don't remember leaving the pub."

"Must've had fun."

"At least we don't have to work today." She groaned, the pair rolling over to try and get some more sleep into their groggy bones.

"The impertinence." Fanny huffed, glancing down at a drunk Mike and Alison, stumbling into the house with their equally drunk and noisy friends.

"Ohh! This looks like fun!" Pat grinned, coming to the window to see the noise.

"The bally nerve! It's gone midnight." Captain grumbled.

Pat nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, it is very late. Yeah, absolutely."

"Welcome to BUTTON HOUSE!" Mike yelled as they entered the house.

"They brought the bar back here, didn't they?" Lucille slid into the window frame, next to Cap who nodded tersely. "Well, it might be fun. I haven't been to a party in ages."

Mike's memory of the night hit him, and he realised exactly what happened. Stumbling down the stairs and to the common room with Alison, who was staring at the people and mess spread about the room. This was going to take a while, indeed.

Mike attempted to wake people up and clear them out but with his lost voice, the job was a lot harder than it should've been. Unfortunately, the archaeologist started drilling, causing more pain to them in their hangover states.

"Ah, Alison. Would you mind putting Guernsey's Nazi Past on the VCR for me, please?" Captain asked the woman as she attempted to clean up some of the rubbish from last night.

"I haven't watched my football yet." Pat told him.

"Would you kindly tell Patrick that he missed his turn and a miss is as good as a mile? And I'm afraid-"

"Guys, please, can you keep it down?"

"No, Alison, I'm sorry-"

"I don't care!" Alison yelled at them.
