We agreed to welcome the New Year together. I am currently preparing for it. I prepped my base with oil-free moisturizer and primer before following the natural contours of my nose and cheeks to highlight its shape. I applied some bronzer to create a sun-kissed look and dabbed a small amount of blush on the higher portion of my cheeks to create a lifted look.

I traced the natural curves of my eyebrows to give it a natural but full look. I do not need to create a separate shape because it is one my best features. I just need to improve its shape using my dark brown Charlotte Tilbury fine eyebrow pencil and filled them using the brow lift gel from the same brand and the same shade.

I used gold eyeshadow base and created a black smokey effect, accented the whole thing with a sharp cat-eye and midnight black mascara.

I traced the natural line of my lips using a Charlotte Tilbury coral lipliner before filling them with YSL nude pink Rouge Volupte lipstick. Soft and light lip color would balance the bold eye makeup.

I put on my nude silk sheath off-the-shoulder dress. It has sweetheart neckline exposing my heart-shaped diamond topper at the top of my chest. The sheath ruffle comfortably hugs my midline section. Its brush train flows freely a few inches into the floor. A slit runs through the whole length of my left leg, ending at my upper thigh.

I let down my hair I previously put on large curlers for volume and enhance my waist-length natural waves. I gave it a good shake and it flows freely. I arranged the front layers to emphasize them and frame of my face. I run my fingers through the whole length before I put on my pearl drop earrings which hangs three inches down. Wore a stack of bangles from Tiffany & Co. and a few statement rings on my thumb, index, and middle fingers.

I wore my nude Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandal. I was choosing between Chanel Noir, Tierry Mugler Alien, and Dior Poison when my phone beeped for a text.

I picked up my phone to check habang inaamoy ko ang Noir. Galing sa kanya ang text to let me know he is on his way to pick me up. Napangiti ako kasi the Noir reminded me of our very first siomai date at the dock. Ganun pa rin naman ang ginagawa namin but he tries to limit to kissing and cuddling. I decided to wear the Noir.

I heard the door beep and naririnig ko ang boses niya kausap si Manang Sela. I took one last turn in front of my mirror before stepping out holding my purse. He immediately stuck to my side and gave me a kiss at my temple.

"You look stunning, baby, but I am afraid you'd punch me if I ruin your lipstick," he whispered in my head.

"I could reapply them!" And I faced him ready to be devoured. He laughed and hugged me tighter.

"We cannot be late," at nagpaalam na kami kay Manang Sela bago tuluyang umalis. Hindi siya umuwi sa kanyang pamilya, they would be coming over to visit her bukas and get a tour around the city din. My Papa had the whole thing arranged for them.

We waited for his car and drove to the venue. We parked and I was ready to go down when he suddenly grabbed my hand to stop me. I looked at him in question.

"Fuck, I'm sorry. I can't help it." He grabbed my face with both hands and kissed me hungrily. I responded instantly and clung to him. He pulled me to his lap and I pulled open the slit of my dress so that I could I straddle him.

We explored each other's mouth. Dueled with our tongue and both win. We pulled away breathing so heavily. We looked into each other's eyes for a moment before pulling each other again for more needy kisses. One hand palmed my chest from outside my dress.
