We made our routine check around the hacienda. I decided to drop by the mansion para kumustahin sina Lolo at Lola. I noticed extra vehicles outside and two helicopters from our yard. We turned a section of our yard into a helipad when Papa started helping in the hacienda so that my Dapitan family could freely visit anytime.  

Papa's whole family is here based on the number of vehicles and the two helicopters. They travel with extra security to prevent potential attacks and kidnappings especially if they travel together.

"I think Papa's here," as I turned to him.

"Alright, let's go," umamba siyang bababa but I stopped him.

"Are you sure?" I do not know their status yet.

"Of course!" At nagpatuloy na siyang bumaba sabay sa akin.

Nauna akong pumasok habang nakasunod naman siya sa likod ko.

I was right, Papa, Kuya, and Ate are inside. I hugged each of them. They stared at the person behind me. Kuya's face turned red and his eyes blazed with fury. Papa is holding him back from attacking Mark.

I guess they heard about him being here, so they all showed up. I have heard them mention their dislike for what he did but I never thought they would hate him so much.

"How dare you show up in front of her!" Ate Carla slapped him as hard as she could.

"You abandoned her when you were the only person who kept her from falling apart!" Dinuro din siya ni Kuya Nathan na patuloy na pinipigilan ni Papa from approaching Mark.

They uttered the words I have been keeping all in throughout the years.

"You kicked her to the curb. She has been through hell! I cannot lose my sister again! Not to you, not to anyone, not to her nightmares!" Humagulhol na sabi ni Ate as she is hitting him in the chest. Mark just took it all in.

"Ate, let's not blame him for what happened to me please," I tried to stop her.

Pumasok si Tita Carmel at Mommy Isadora galing sa kusina.

"Carla, enough! It has been years. Let's not put blames on others." Sabi ni Mommy at nilapitan ito para hilahin paalis doon.

"Madali sa'yo 'coz you were never there to see us lose her!" Hysterical pa rin na sinisigawan ni Ate Carla si Mark.

"I'm sorry." He uttered them as he slowly kneeled in front of them. I could not hold back my tears anymore. "I wished I reacted differently back then."

I rushed to him and tried to pull him back up pero itinuloy niya pa rin ang pagluhod.

"It is no one else's fault but those bastards. But you did good. Thank you for what you did. But please stay away from her." Lumapit din si Mommy sa amin at naawa niya itong tiningnan.

Tumango siya at lalong bumuhos ang aking mga luha. He said he will not leave!

"We've already talked! We will explain things to you guys, okay?" I asked them. We have no exact plan yet because we just started again but we will eventually discuss it. He told me he will not leave ever again.

I looked at Papa asking for help, umiiling lang siya. Kuya is still mad, pacing back and forth in one side. Ate is still sobbing and murmuring she cannot lose me again. Tita Carmel is trying to calm her down. Lolo and Lola also came to the living room from the backdoor to maybe check on the sudden commotion.
