Chapter 19~ I warned you
Kendra's POV
"Full name?" John asks.
"Kendra Rae Smith." I answer, looking forward.
"Siblings?" Next question.
"9 of them. 1 blood related brother, 2 step sisters, 5 step brothers."
"Damn..." he whispers, then continues, "parents names?"
"Chet and Stephanie. Want my step parents too?" I sarcastically say back.
"Please."
"Joanie and Paul."
"Now it's going to get more personal."
"Whatever." Cue eye roll.
"Hey! I don't think you want to do that princess." Dan says with a nasty smirk.
"I can do whatever the fuck I want!" I yell.
"I warned you to not be disrespectful!" Dan yells back.
"Dan... don't do it ye-" John was cut off by Dan hitting him in the back of the head.
He heads over to me, takes me by my hair and drags me out of the room, down the hall, and into a closet. I try getting around him but he kicks me in the stomach and spits on me. "Now keep quiet or it'll get worse." And slams the closet door shut.
As I lay on the closet floor clutching my bruising stomach, I could help but think, I deserve this.
