(this is my first attempt at trying to write a script, so don't judge.)
Two figures walk into view, rounding the corners of one of the bookshelves. They stop, and find a seat on the carpet that covers the whole ground of the library. They are each holding a stack of books, which they put to the side.
The library is silent except for their murmurs.
Rosalyn: Gods, this will take all night to finish sorting out! What trouble have you gotten us into now? Please, dear gods, why was I whisked away from the middle of class to put up with your foolishness and recklessness!
Colden: Rosalyn, love-
Rosalyn: Don't "Rosalyn, love" me! Skip the apologies, and get to the part where you get your ass in trouble.
Colden: fine, fine. Well, it really isn't my fault. You know that if I'm anything, I'm determined. I will never break a promise. Anyways... hey! Don't give me that look. Anyways, yesterday, I was walking through the corridors, which also happened to be forbidden to any student. But you know me, and so, as I was walking down the hallway, plotting on how to get out of doing that stupid quiz, i heard the faintest of footsteps. Obviously, I went to look, and you won't believe what I found. There, after I turned the corner, I found an entrance that was not there before. It, it just seemed to pop out of nowhere. And I wanted to know where it led, but at that exact moment, one of the professors saw me. Well, damn it. Now, there, you happy? I gave you the full story. Oh and, I also saw George and Tina making out.
Rosalyn's eyebrows rise slowly as Colden finishes his story, until that last bite, where she hit him in the arm with a book.
Colden: Ow!
Rosalyn: That is very hard to believe, but, I mean, you never know. Anything could happen anywhere.
Colden: oh no, you have that expression on your face when you get this dumb idea stuck in your head. What is it now?
Rosalyn: I mean, it wouldn't hurt trying to find it, would it now?
Colden: hell yes! Let's go.
Rosalyn: no, no, we do not need to go. There already is an entrance here in the library. Right there.
Rosalyn pointed to a place just on the outer edge of the bookshelf they were sandwiched between. She got to her feet, putting out a hand for Colden.
Rosalyn: come one.
The two lone figures walk to the wall, and suddenly, a flame appears out of nowhere, making the outline of a door.
The door solidifies into a wooden one, and opens with a slam. There is nothing on the other side of the door, just black.
Colden: wow. So, where do you think it goes to?
Rosalyn: Well, one would only know if they take that one step of faith. All it takes is one, all you need is one. One step.
Colden has a confused expression on his face.
Colden; you're acting weird. You would usually be freaked out by the dark arts, and would probably be screaming your head off. I only thought it strange when you didn't change the subject when you landed on.
Rosalyn: You seem to be having a little trouble, so why don't I help you, hmm? We're friends... right?
Rosalyn pushes Colden through the door before he can object. Suddenly, her eyes become bright red, and it lights on fire.
Rosalyn: goodbye, Colden. I hope you have fun.
And with that, she closes the door.
Rosalyn: Father, I did it for you. Are you happy. Are you happy that I did this? Are you happy that I broke him? Are you happy that I broke my heart? Are you happy to see me like this, wrecked?
Tears roll down Rosalyn's eyes. Yet there is no response.
Rosalyn: Are you happy that I'm not happy? Have you gotten enough of your revenge? Have-
And just as suddenly, Rosalyn lights up in flames, and when it dies down, there is nothing left, not even the ash, nothing. Nothing.
Written on the wall that the door appeared on, are nine words:
My craving of vengeance ended when you burst, daughter.
