'Feminist.'
Some didn't understand.
Boys peeked under their skirts,
But their mouths were shut.
Fingers and hands,
Placed where they shouldn't.
But the aftermath was lonely,
Silence was the result.
If we have a voice,
We are giving attitude.
'Women,' they would say,
'This is how they act.'
Cliche mouths and eyes,
Straps being pulled,
Mouths being zipped,
And screams being shot.
But it's not just one,
But some others out there,
Alike whom have faced this terror.
Small boys and 'weak' girls.
Wrists bound to wood,
Eyes filled with hatred,
Throats glued down.
Wild hair with pounding hearts.
Both terror and fear,
The chained and the chains.
Suffer from one's wrath,
But nothing ever changes.
We live in a world of silence,
Where some voices won't be heard.
Where strength comes before mind.
Where love's enemy thrives.
