I'm swimming,
and swimming,
and swimming.
It hurts,
in my lungs,
and in my shoulders.
It hurts so much
that I can't breath,
can't swim.
I'm swimming,
and swimming,
and swimming.
I lag as my lungs
try to breathe in
but can only breath out.
But I'm swimming,
and swimming,
and swimming.
My mind feels hazy,
my vision begins to blur,
and my mouth fills up.
One by one,
they pass me, until
I'm the last one.
Help is within
my reach,
but I do not call out.
I do not call out,
out of pride or
out of fear.
Help is standing
right in front of me,
I just need to say something.
I'm swimming,
and swimming,
and swimming.
