When you see tears in your eyes,
you're not supposed to feel disgust,
you're not supposed to feel pity.
When you see tears in your eyes,
you're not supposed to feel comfortable,
you're not supposed to calmly wipe them away.
When you see tears in your eyes,
you're supposed to see tears of guilt and fear,
you're supposed to see dark circles beneath scared eyes.
You're supposed to feel something when you cry.
You're not supposed to feel hatred at those tears.
You're not supposed to feel longing for more of them.
When you see tears in your eyes,
your sight should be blurred from wet sobs.
You're not supposed to see a darker beauty within.
