Staring into your eyes, is like staring into
a million stars scattered across a vast and distant blue canvas, everything just out of reach, a beauty unattainable.
a blinding white light shining from the setting or rising sun, where one is chained to this massive beast, and through the pain, tears of glee fall.
a bloody sword risen into the air, where the sky falls into the arms of the earth, and victory is on the horizon, as night and day link arms, a union to success.
a ripple inside of a blue ocean, waving and chanting to the sound of the wind, as the waves rush towards places that no human has set forth, and the fullness within the water where many things have sunk and many things have left, and many things have found home.
a flutter of butterflies, as they swirl around flowers of different shapes and colors, a beauty that they crave, not knowing that they are something also to be craved.
a sliver of moonlight, where shyness meets with anyone who looks up into the sky, where the sun used to blind them, but now a soft light holds their gaze forever, for there is never blush.
a mountain shrouded by clouds, covering up their own majesty, afraid to be used, to be stepped on, to be photographed, but wanting so much to show others itself, that it peeks through their thin clothes.
a blanket of snow, falling and cooling the earth, trying vainly, trying successfully, to cover the ground, to cover the fallen leaves, and to cover the dead.
a cache of letters, written with love, with pride, with pain, with tears, where everywhere that the ink touches paper, a new story is unfolding, another person is being written, and another place is becoming home.
a bundle of clouds, far off into the blue, pink, purple, and grey sky, where those who see it wish forever to walk upon those lands so far, yet so close and so mocking for one's wishes for that.
a vast field where clutters of small trees and millions of wild flowers roam across, trying to find a way to make a painting out of all this mess, trying to so hard, not knowing that it's the wildness and yearning for perfection that makes it beautiful.
a forest, trying to protect those within from the harsh glares of the prideful, or the civilized, or the old, because in there only youth thrives, only curiosity, fear, and naivety lives.
a city still full of lights as the night is always young, and clutters and groups of messy thoughts and people and stories still manage to scrape by in those dirty, puzzled, idealistic streets.
a cliff, where it cannot warn of the fall below, where it tries to catch onto the falling, but can only succeed once the falling has fallen, and it can only reminisce of the life that once lived, can only think about the world that used to rise, can only think about the brighter past and see only the darker future.
a rose, standing so beautiful, so tall, by itself, but its thorns so thick, and so sharp, the nothing can come and sweep it away, where no one can ever touch it, where it can only be admired and looked upon, but never, ever, touched.
a dream the takes one towards different paths, each different, and each leading to a different place, where one wakes up fearing that land, where one wakes up yearning for the warmth that was brought only in their mind, and both comforted by the fact that dreaming is temporarily permanent.
a clock ticking down the infinity, tired hands reaching for the lost time, but never once being able to catch it, and so it moves to the next second that is escaping.
Staring into your eyes is being sucked into millions of different places, different feelings, different things. Staring into your eyes is something that can never be captured by words. Staring into your eyes is looking into the universe.
And it would take me forever to stare into the universe.
