Pain and want.
I want your love,
but your love hurts.
Can't see in the pain,
can't see in the want.
Can't breathe without either.
The hate you inflict is painful,
but this is what the hate wants:
lack of love; abundant, sorrowful wounds.
Pain and want,
don't hurt one you love,
but never want too much to hurt.
Pain and want,
the pain of bandaged love,
the want of new found romance.
