Warning: small chapter.

"Welcome back seniors!" I shout as I stand at the entrance of our school corridor. Some people cheered while some ignored. I walk down the corridor smiling like an idiot. Well you can't believe me when I say that my life perfect is right now.

As I walk I hear some people commenting or asking questions but I ignore them, "Hey Skylar! How was the trip?"

"You look amazing today!"

"Is Ashley Martins your friend now?l"

"Your hair is so beautiful!"

I open my locker as my best friends lean against the neighbouring lockers. They both smirk, "Someone seems to be glowing." I ignore their comment & continue taking my books for the first lecture. "Oh come on stop ignoring us!" Criss whines stomping her feet on the floor.

"I'm not ignoring you?" I say which moreover sounds like a question. "I don't have a reason to ignore you guys."

"Yeah yeah we know." Astrid rolls her eyes, "but tell us why are you glowing so much?"

"First of all I'm not glowing" I say scoffing, "second can't a girl be happy?" I walk down the corridor towards my first lecture & look around trying to spot Kayden. I huff when I don't spot him. I wonder where he is & what he is doing.

"You searching for someone Sky" I could hear the mocking in Criss's question.

I roll my eyes but answer her anyways, "yes, I'm searching my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend? Kayden asked you to be his girlfriend? When? You never told us?" Astri asks. girl's gotta point, Kayden never asked me to his girlfriend. But I was the one who said let's date, so we are official, right? Right?

"Um, well... no?" They both gasp & open their mouth to say something as the bell went off.

"This conversation is not over here." Criss points her finger at me & they both walk to their respective classes as I walk towards mine.

Throughout the Calculus class I kept scribbling my notebook while thinking about how we are not officially dating. I chew my lower lip not paying to the class & ignoring my Calculus sir's calls. Then my bench partner nudged my shoulder when I snapped out of my train of thoughts. I immediately apologised & lowered my graze.

"Ms. Scott this is a truly unusual behaviour from you in my class. Since it's your first mistake I would let it go, now answer to the question asked." I asked for a minute to solve the problem then answered it. Luckily it was correct otherwise it would've been embarrassing, a lot.

Our Calculas sir was known as the most strict teacher from the entire school. And to come into his list of favourite students is very difficult but luckily I made my way to that list & it came in handy today. But after that moment onwards I paid attention the subject to avoid any more embarrassing moments.

When the lunch break rolled I was slowly eating my salad with a frown. The frown was for two things- first I was eating a freaking salad, second- Kayden hasn't lifted his eyes towards me. I feel so despondent. I huff & continue eating not caring to make conversation with anyone. Once my lunch was done the rest of the day was normal, if you not include not caring to talk with each other.

Actually Talking is nothing, we are not even looking at each other!

When the day came to an end I waved goodbye to my friends & raced out from the parking lot. I jammed to songs to distract myself then took a bath after returning. I sat on the couch as I munched on apple & strolled through Instagram, when a thought popped in my mind. I opened my camera & clicked a picture of myself & uploaded it in my Instagram story.
