Chapter Fourteen| Kayden's Friends

"Good morning." I say yawning & walking towards the kitchen to find Kayden making breakfast.

"good morning sleepy head."

"What are you making?" I ask sitting in the bar stool then keeping my head on the table.

"Me? pancakes & coffee."

"Can I get just milk?"

"Just milk?"

"Yeah. I drink milk atleast once a day otherwise I get a bad headache."

"Oh okay. I will prepare it." I lift my head, keep them between my palms my eyes still closed, I hear him chuckle then a click. I open one eye to notice him clicking my photo, still. "Hey!" I protest & cover my face with my hands.

"oh come on! It came good, trust me, see." I get up & walk to the other side of the table & peak into the phone, it actually came out cute. My hair was in a messy bun with few strands coming on my face, "It's cute."

"Told ya."

He kept two plates on the island table with decorated pancakes on it, "Whoa, your setting is amazing. Lemme get my phone." I rush towards my room & bring my phone. I click pictures of it & put it on my story with caption,

Then my phone beeps showing notification from Instagram. After opening I notice Kayden's story, my sleepy face photo with I've a sleepy head in my house!😱

I narrow my eyes at him, "seriously dude?" He just shrugs & gets back to his pancakes.

After breakfast he informs me that we need to go live in an hour so I take a good steam bath & get ready with a little makeup. I step out & knock on his door, when he comes into my view only with a towel wrapped around his torso. Oh fuck.

I immediately turn around I don't wanna look like a creep plus I don't want him to look at my blushing. I hear him chuckle & grab my wrist turning me around. I slam into his hard figure with widened eyes.

He wraps an arm around my waist & stares at me in the eye, "w-what do y-you think your doin?" I stammer.

He tilts his head & asks, "would you like to go on a date with tomorrow?" I swear if my eyes weren't widened it would've been now.

Oh. My. God.

"W-What?"

"Would you like to go-" I cut him off, "I-I heard you! But... all of a sudden?"

"Well yesterday you indirectly said I would've to ask you out. So that's what I'm doin." Is he serious?

"With you half naked?"

"If you want I'll go full naked." He winks, I huff, "come on Scott just answer." I'm totally confused right now.

And him being half naked in front of me is not helping, "first get dressed." He nods & walks in closing the door behind him. I start walking towards the living room when I notice one more room, huh? There's one more room?

I will check it later. First think Skylar, think.

I've rejected him indirectly once also rejecting again would be embarrassing for both us. But I don't want anything to raise between us. Well only partially. And I still haven't come to a conclusion if he is a bad boy, so far I haven't spotted any scandal on media in regards to him. But... it should not really depend if he is a bad boy. It should depend if he treats me well & so far he is.

I even got to know about his ex-girlfriend, Ava LaBlanc. They dated for two years & Kayden treated her really well. I shouldn't bring in the account of him treating her well, it shouldn't matter.
