Chapter Eleven| Friday Night

I stand beside Theo, ready to march out. This has always been a tradition, the cheerleaders & footballers walk out on the field together waving at the crowd. When the couch blows the whistle we run out with a wide smile on our faces.

After running a few steps I do a cartwheel, wave at the crowd & send flying kisses to some. When the other school comes in front us, I drop my smile & glare at the head cheerleader then again put on my smile, wave & do a back flip.

When we reach to our designated place, I take a deep breath & shout, "girls!"

Then we all keep our palms above each other & shout "1, 2, 3, go Lions! Woah!" we immediately run & take our positions. While doing our routine we keep on cheering for our team who is winning by 4 points.

When the half time rolls in, Astri immediately runs towards Theo whereas Criss & I drink water chatting, when a bunch of cheerleaders from the other school walk towards us. We both ignore them until one of them snarls my name, I wince & say, "never thought my name could also sound like that."

"Well, I'm the best, who gave you the privilage. Acknowledge it."

"Acknowledge-" Criss scoffs, "In your fucking dreams." The same girl takes a step but stops & her jaw drops looking past me before we could turn around someone wraps their arm around my shoulder.

"hey Skylar & Crissy." His deep set voice says beside me.

Kayden

"Oh come on." Criss groans, "I'm again repeating don't fucking call me Crissy"

To which Kayden shrugs, "anyways, I was here to just catch up with you guys upon tonight's party."

Before we both say anything someone squeals, "oh my god it's Kayden McCoy!" He turns his gaze from me & smiles. Then whole gang sighs dreamily making me & Criss groan in frustration as we have been getting that a lot in school since we have been got to know about him.

"Can I please get your autograph?" The head cheerleader of their team says biting her lip & twirling her hair in her hand.

Bitch!

Kayden nods & signs every girl's from their team. Some even make him sign on their outfits' back. It looks so disgusting but Kayden keeps a sweet smile & signs without hesitating. He has done this a lot of times.

Then the whistle goes off, indicating us that the half time is over. Astri walks towards us with an agitated face, we both raise our eyebrows with look says what- the- fuck- happened? To which she waves off.

We immediately take our position & resume our routine. In the end of the game we won by 5points. Some of us do different gymnastics movement like I do cartwheel & summer sault & Criss does backflip & cartwheel whereas Astri just runs to the ground to give Theo a victory kiss.

Hahaha. Not really funny right?

We sing Boss Bitch by Doja Cat at top of voices, while Astri tries focusing on the road driving us to my house. When the song was just about to end Astri turns off the engine making me & Criss groan, "sorry bitches, but we've reached."
