Pierre has been watching me from afar since our misunderstanding happened. I think I'm getting used to it. Although, he's like a stalker and not a bodyguard.

I saw Pierre in front of my house in the morning every day; he would guard me as I ride a taxi to school. At lunch, he would go to the college of Fine Arts to keep an eye on me as I ate my lunch with my block mates. Then in the afternoon, he kept me safe as I went to Avffee. Likewise, when at work, he watched me like a hawk.

Two days had passed, and we were still not on speaking terms. I knew he had his date with Rainne dahil ibinalita na sa akin ni Ate Avi. And I've no interest in knowing if they're going to make it work.

My life in the past few days has been kind of peaceful. Lagi akong kinukumusta nina Ate Avi at Kuya Renz. We became closer, and I'm thankful they're here to keep me company whenever I need them.

Since that day someone had asked for my number, naulit nang naulit 'yon. Some were from my university and came from other schools. I didn't know why the number escalated. I imagine that it's because of Pierre. Everyone knows he's my bodyguard and we're always together.

Some are persistent. Katulad ni Harvy. He's from my university from the College of Engineering daw. If I become the guard next week, hindi talaga ako magdadalawang isip na h'wag siyang papasukin dito sa Avffee.

"What's your order?" I asked him.

I mentally rolled my eyes when he rested his chin on his palm and stared at me like I would get lost in his vision if he didn't focus. I let out a frustrated sigh.

"What's your order, Harvy?" I demanded.

He grinned in amusement. The next thing I knew he pulled my right hand towards his side dahil may biglang dumaan na nagv-vlog kung sa'n ako nakatayo. I wanted to talk to the three young girls who didn't bother to apologize.

"Kids these days," I shrieked in annoyance.

Inayos ko ang pwesto ko. Tinarayan ko naman si Harvy.

"Don't do that again. Hindi tayo close."

Inayos ko ang skirt ko. Napansin ko nitong mga nakaraang araw na lagi akong bad mood. My forehead is always wrinkled and I don't smile at all.

"Iced Americano again? Right away, Sir," I decided on Harvy.

Tumalikod na ako sa kanya. To my surprise, he ran towards me and blocked my way.

"What's wrong with you? Hindi ako nakikipagbiruan," I roared.

His eyes were wide open, like he was shocked about something. I looked around the shop kung may nangyayari bang kakaiba, wala naman. It's five in the afternoon, and the customers are busy with their business.

I pushed him to the side and continued walking. But Harvy blocked me again. I cursed under my breath.

"What? Magsalita ka!"

He gulped, then he pointed at my back.

"May pula ka sa skirt mo."

Shit. Puti pa naman ang suot kong skirt! I sighed in dismay. I put the tray at my back.

"I can handle it. Now stay away from me."

I didn't know what to do. Should I go home now?
