There's another one again. I breathed heavily as I read the new threat Rainne has been giving me this week. After that box that Harvy gave me, may kasunod na naman.

Hindi ko alam kung paano siya o ibang tao ang inuutusan niya na ilagay ito rito sa locker ko. I didn't tell it to Pierre. Puro threats pa lang naman, Rianne hasn't done anything to me.

I crumpled the paper and threw it inside my locker. I'm keeping it so when the day comes that she hurts me, may ebidensya ako laban sa kanya.

Yes, I'm an heiress of one of the top corporations in this country, but there had been no threat of danger when I was growing up. Not until this one. Bakit ba ayaw pa akong tigilan ni Rainne? She's not in love with Pierre naman, right? She's a cheater. She has no conscience. Bukod sa ni-record ko ang pag-uusap namin no'n at ang mga sampal ko sa kanya, wala na akong ibang ginawa.

"Dae, oks ka na?" usisa ng katrabaho kong si Trisha, waitress nitong Avffee.

Naging guard lang ako ng tatlong araw, hindi rin ako nagtagal dahil ayaw ni Pierre ang posisyong 'yon para sa akin. So I'm back to being a waitress. After this week, siguro ay magpapahinga muna ako. Besides, finals will be next week.

"Nakita ko na pala ang boyfriend mo sa lamesa niya," sambit pa niya.

Tumango na lang ako. Nanatiling tunatakbo ang isip ko tungkol kay Rianne. Kapag may ginawa siyang masama sa akin, hindi ko na talaga siya mapatatawad.

Ngumiti ako at nagpaalam kay Trisha. Lumabas na ako at dumeretso sa mga customers to ask about their orders. It's five-thirty in the afternoon, marami na naman ang nasa Avffee. Pierre and I decided to watch Ate Avi's new movie tonight. Eight naman ang labas ko, we still have time for that.

My usual work passed by. My novels have been doing well so far. Besides being distracted by Pierre's presence, I'm writing just fine. Malapit ko nang matapos ang story nina Tory at Keanu. Speaking of Kean, he hasn't been dining here in Avffee. Siguro ay busy.

Dinalhan ko ng kape si Pierre. He was also busy sa pag-aaral. His program is no joke. I tried to learn something from one of his courses, pero hindi talaga kaya ng brain cells ko. I have huge respect for his brain.

"Thank you, Dae."

Kinawayan ko siya bago bumalik sa trabaho. After three hours, we were on the road to the mall. Nakabili naman na ako ng ticket online. We only need to arrive on time.

"Do you know that Ate Avi and her bodyguard were secretly dating?" chika ko kay Pierre.

He doesn't give me a reaction. I shrugged. Nakausap ko si Ate Avi kahapon at sinabi niyang nagda-date na raw sila no'ng bodyguard niyang si Aidan.

"I haven't gotten in touch with Kuya Renz, have you?" I asked again.

He slowed his driving a bit, shifting the gear too. "I haven't."

I pursed my lips. I tried to text Kuya Renz, but he might be busy. Nakalilmutan kong itanong kay Ate Avi.

"Will you bring our pets sa bahay this weekend?" I requested.

He nodded. "I will. If you promise to behave yourself tonight."

I burst out laughing. Mas madalas na kasi kaming nanonood ng movie. I didn't know if wala talagang magandang movies these past few days before Ate Avi's, but we were always the only one sa loob ng theater. It was no big deal. I love it too that we're alone.

The last time we watched, I sat in his lap. I didn't do anything! As in! Pero itong si Pierre ay mukhang nate-tempt yata.

"I won't," natatawa kong tugon.
