Anna-

I woke up in his bed. The water was running in the connecting bathroom and I slowly sat up. Grabbing my shorts and underwear, I slipped them on and tip-toed out of the room. I made my way to my room and closed and locked the door. I smelled like him and I walked to my bathroom. I turned the shower head on and waited for the water to get warm.

After a couple minutes, the water was warm. I undressed and stepped in. The hot water pounding down on my skin made me forget, almost, what my life has become. My sister was gone, probably to live a better life than this shitty hellhole we lived in. I would've done the same thing if I didn't love the unstable rollercoaster next door.

I got out of the shower and went into my bedroom with my towel wrapped around me. I sat at my desk and opened up my laptop. An e-mail from the private investigator I had hired to find my sister was in my inbox. I clicked on it and read it. Apparently, he found my sister and that she was in London but that she was leaving with a guy. A guy? Has my sister finally found someone she could trust? I didn't know whether to be happy or angry. Happy that she found someone, angry that she hadn't even tried contacting me.

I replied, telling him to follow her wherever she was going with that guy. He responded saying that they were on a train headed here. Here? She's coming here? But why? I'd just have to wait and see. I got up and walked over to my closet. We didn't have much. Our house was a simple two-story house. My father left us a fortune but my mother wanted us to grow up humble. So she bought this house and this is where we stayed. I pulled out a black tank top, red ripped skinny jeans and black combat boots. After changing, I sat down at my vanity and began to straighten my hair.

As I was finishing, my door opened and in stepped Hans. Head down and shoulders slumped, told me he regretted everything he did. I was tired of it. Everyday was the same thing, and everyday I forgave him. But this time I wasn't going to forgive him. He walked towards me and wrapped his arms around me and he buried his face in my hair. We stayed like that until I couldn't take it anymore.

"Hans, get out." I said in a calm voice, even though I was terrified inside. He looked at me through the mirror and said, "Why?" I got up and he let me go. I walked to the window and watched the empty space of land behind our house. "I can't do this anymore. I can't keep living like this anymore. I need time for myself and this is not us."

"No. No, please Anna don't do this. I'm sorry, please. I love you. Please just give me a second chance." Hans was on his knees, begging me not to do this. It hurt, I still loved this man and I think I always will. I told him to get up and get out. He stayed on his knees for a while before getting up and walking to the door. I followed him and before I could register what happened, I was on the ground, my cheek stinging from the slap he had given me. Tears began falling and Hans stood over me.

This was the monster he had become and there was no stopping him. There was no turning back for him or me. And that, that realization, is what made me realize something even bigger.

Hans Isles broke my heart into a million tiny pieces........

Elsie-

Jack and I stepped off the train onto the empty platform in Tromsø, Norway. My old home. It felt like a million years ago that I was standing here, running away from my fear of hurting people. A few of the locals did double-takes as Jack and I walked past them. Some nodded and smiled as if welcoming me back home while others, mostly mothers, hid their children and gave me scornful looks. A pain in my chest warned me that something was not right with Anna and I was anxious to get home and protect her from the pain she's feeling.

As Jack was renting a car, I pulled out my phone and searched through my contacts until I found the person I was looking for. Anna. I hadn't talked to her in four months and I wondered if she would answer. I deliberately changed phone numbers so she couldn't call or text me. Pushing all thoughts of doubt out of my head, I dialed her number. She answered on the fifth ring and she sounded scared.

"Hello?"

"Anna? It's Elsa. What's wrong?"

"Elsa? Is it really you? Oh, I missed you so much. Nothing's wrong, why do you ask?"

"Anna Nicole, I'm not dumb. I can tell when you're scared. Is it Hans? I'm on my way home."

"Elsa, really, there's nothing wr-" she was cut off by a loud crash in the background. "Anna! You come back here! You think you can just leave me?"

"Anna! Anna! Hold on, I'm on my way home. Just hide and I'll be there as fast as I can."

"Hurry, please!" With that, the phone line went dead. My heart was beating fast and I was more anxious to get home. Jack came back with the keys and he seemed to understand by my face that Anna was in trouble. We rushed to the car and sped off to my house. We got there in about 20 minutes and before Jack had fully stopped the car, I was out and running to the house. I barged in and ran upstairs.

"Anna!" I shouted, searching every room and when I couldn't find her or Hans, I ran outside and scanned the empty land behind our house. There. Hans was on top of her in the middle of the field and pinning her down. I started to run but a hand on my shoulder stopped me. Jack's face was changing, his eyes turning gold and his hair was changing color as well. In no time, he had changed into the Hooded Hero and was running towards Hans.

I ran behind him and we both reached them. Jack tackled Hans and they were soon fighting each other. I helped Anna up, who was in a ball after Hans was off of her and we both ran back to the house. "Esther!" I yelled and she appeared and I said, "Take Anna upstairs and both of you stay in her room. I'm going back to help Jack." I turned around and Anna grabbed my arm.

"Be careful Elsa, he's dangerous." I nodded and Esther dragged Anna upstairs. I reached Jack and Hans and began to freeze Hans in place. Jack had almost beaten him to a pulp and Hans seemed to be enjoying it. It was sick, he was sick. Jack gave one final punch and Hans was knocked out cold. He got off him and slowly started changing back. I stood there, not sure what to do with Hans. I wanted to kick him for hurting my sister, but I knew a better solution.

I got my phone and called the police. After a few minutes, they showed up and two men dressed in white came and took Hans to what I assume would be the mental institute. Jack and I gave them our statements and Anna was taken to the hospital to be checked for internal injuries. I couldn't believe it. The man that my sister had said she was in love with, had completely lost it and was now in the asylum. I hated Hans but he seemed like he was everything Anna could have ever wanted.

Arms around me told me that I had been standing in that same spot for a long time. I had stayed and watched the scene even after they had left. All of these years and he snapped after I disappeared. What made him snap? What did my disappearance have to do with this? I was so confused and I needed answers. "C'mon Snowflake. Let's get inside before you get sick. Tomorrow we'll go and see Anna and then bring her back home." Jack said and I nodded. We turned around and walked up the pathway to the house hand in hand.

The hairs on the back of my neck rose up and I got goosebumps. Someone was watching me. I looked over my shoulder but nobody was there. Elsa. A whispered voice said and I looked back. Again, no one was there. Jack opened the door and before I went inside I took one more look behind me.

Someone was out there and I was going to find put who....

He smiled as he looked at the beautiful woman she had become. So much like her mother. He needed to have her and her sister with him again. There was one problem, he still couldn't control his thirst. After 11 years and training with some of the ancient ones in the community, he had decided it was time to search for his most prized possession. He found her in London staying with his sister and niece.

He had watched her overcome the curse and find love. Now here she was with that boy who had a secret of his own. He swore to himself that he would get her and her sister and take them with him back to Moscow. He needed a plan and quick. He was anxious to have them.

Soon, he thought, soon they will be mine.

He faded into the shadows and smiled at what Elsa and Anna had coming for them......
