✴Chapter 13- Elsie's Discovery: Part 3✴

Elsie-

This is the truth.......
------3 days later------

Today is the day I go home from the hospital. I'm still confused as to what exactly happened. All I remember is a voice in my head saying "You have been set free." What could that mean? Free from what? Another thing to add on my list of things to figure out. Great.

Jack came in as I was putting on my shoes. I smiled up at him and finished tying my shoelace. I was wearing my normal clothes. Black flowy tank top, black skinny jeans, black long-sleeved cardigan and black Vans. My snowflake necklace and my black diamond stud earrings were the only accessories I was wearing. My hair was down and my bangs kept getting in my eyes.

I stood up and walked over to Jack. We hugged and kissed and he picked me up and swung me around. Another movie moment. He put me down and looked me in the eyes. "You ready to go home Snowflake?" I smiled at him. If only he knew that my home was with him. I nodded and picked up my bag and we walked out holding hands.

Outside the room, Auntie and Punzie were waiting for us. I hugged them both and then while Auntie was checking me out, Punzie, Jack and I headed to the car. As we were crossing the street, a car came and almost hit us. Me mostly. The driver was on his phone and I got mad. I expected to feel myself heat up, but nothing happened. Weird.

I tried again, only this time I thought of all the things the driver could've done to prevent almost hitting us. Nothing happened. What's going on? Then it hit me.

------Flashback------
I need her. As that thought crossed my mind, I felt a strange feeling in my palms, chest and head. What's happening? You've broken the curse. Congratulations Elsie Snowdon. A voice in my head said.

Before I could figure out what that meant, everything went black.........
------End of Flashback------

I was brought back to reality when Jack pulled me away from an oncoming car. I sat down on the curb and looked at my hands. I smiled a bit as I realized what I had done. I, Elsa Winters Arendelle, have broken the curse by myself. My love for my sister saved me. Sister. Anna. I need to get home to her.

I got up quickly and started running down the road to go home. "Elsie where are you going?" Asked Punzie. I looked over my shoulder and said, "I have to get back to Anna! I did it!" I turned to look in front of me and I spread my arms wide and looked up at the clear, crystal blue sky. "I'm finally free!"

"Elsie! Elsie come back!" Called Punzie. I didn't listen to her. I had to get back home, pack up my things and get on the next train back home. I turned the corner and bumped into someone. I fell on the ground and looked up to see Tearny and Aster. Oh boy.

"Watch where your going, Freak." Said Tearny kicking my leg. I felt hands grab my arms and haul me up. Aster was restraining me from getting away, holding my arms behind my back. Tearny smiled and whistled. North came out of the shadows and slowly started to walk towards me.

"Payback time, Freak. You won't get away this time." North said while cracking his knuckles. I closed my eyes as he socked me in the stomach. The wind was knocked out of me. I opened my eyes just as Aster dropped me on the ground. I caught myself and Tina elbowed me in my back.

Aster, North and Tearny had been beating me up for what seemed like ages when they stopped. I thought they were done and that they got bored but as I looked up, I saw Jack. Dressed as my hooded hero, he was fighting North and Aster. He had them both on the ground, knocked out in no time. Before I could get a safe distance away, Tearny grabbed me off the ground and held a pocket knife to my throat.

"STOP!" She said. Jack looked over and although I couldn't see his eyes, I could tell he was worried. I was wrestling Tearny's hand with the knife, so as to not let it get close to my throat. "Tearny don't do this." Jack said as he slowly walked towards us. Tearny brought the knife closer and I struggled to keep it away. I could feel ice forming around us but it led a thin path to Jack. What is going on? Does Jack have ice powers too?

"Stay back! One more step and I will slit her throat Jack." I was utterly confused. How does Tearny know about Jack's secret? Hell I didn't even know until four days ago and we still hadn't talked about it. I couldn't waste time thinking about that. I needed to focus on getting out of Tearny's grasp. I focused my power on the hand that I was holding and it froze over.

"What the-" I cut her off and froze her mouth shut. Jack then used the pressure point on her neck to knock her out. She fell on the ground and I unfroze her arm and mouth and grabbed the pocket knife. I turned towards my "hooded hero" and hugged him. Jack tensed up slightly then wrapped his arms around me, squeezing me before we let go.

"Thank you." I said and smiled at him. He still didn't know I knew his secret, so I acted as if I didn't know. His mouth turned up into a smile and he said, "Your welcome Elsie." His voice sounded deeper than usual but I guess it's just to throw people off. Along with his hair. Wait. He said my name. Ok Elsa, be cool. Act confused.

"How do you know my name?" I asked as I tried my best to make a confused face. He chuckled and said, "Let's just say I'm a close friend." He then turned around and started walking away hurriedly. I couldn't stand acting like I didn't know it was him and before he turned the corner, I ran after him.

"Wait!" I said as I pulled on his sweater sleeve. He turned around and I reached my hands up to push his hood off his head but he grabbed my hands to stop me. I looked at him and gave him a small smile. "It's okay. I understand, Jack."

He sighed and kept my hands in his. Slowly, his clothes returned to the gray t-shirt and black jeans he was wearing earlier. His hair and eyes returned to their original color. I smiled a little, knowing that the man I fell in love with, was the same man who saved me from the very people who bullied me. If I didn't already, then I think I would have fallen in love with him right now.

"How did you know it was me?" He asked, looking at me with those gorgeous blue eyes of his. I brought my hand up to his cheek and smiled. "I knew the moment you told me to not be the monster they think I am. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was afraid that you wouldn't take it well and that you'd break it off with me." He said as he ran his hand through his hair. I was surprised that he would even think that. Did he not see how much I love him? That made me think. Fingers snapping in front of me brought me back to reality.

"You okay Elsie?" He said, looking into my eyes. He had to crouch down a little to be eye-level with me. I nodded and said what I had been dying to say.

"Now you listen to me, Jackson Ryan Overland Frost. If you even thought that I would break up with you, then you obviously doubt how much I love you. I love you so much that not even the end of the world could change that. This is a part of you and I love it as much as I love the rest of you. Nothing in this world could change the way I feel about you. Nothing." I said while poking him in the chest.

He smiled and picked me up and swung me around. As he put me down, he crashed his lips onto mine and kissed me. I returned the kiss and soon enough, we were having a full on make-out session. We let up for air and leaned our foreheads together.

He smiled and grabbed my hands, entwining our fingers together. "Come on Snowflake. Let's get you home and cleaned up. Then we'll stay in your room and watch your favorite movie." I smiled. But something made me stop. The reason why I was here in this alley in the first place.
