Chapter 2- New Friends

Elsa-

After I finshed unpacking my things I decided to lay down and check Instagram and Facebook when I heard a knock at my door. I walked over and opened it to find a bubbly Punzie.

"Hi! Can I come in?" She asked.

"Sure!" I said and moved aside so she could come in. I closed my door and sat on my bed. Punzie looked at my things and she played with her fingers. I have to admit, it was pretty awkward because we hadn't seen each other in two years. How does she know that I love winter, black and snowflakes you might ask? Well, that was all I ever talked about when she would spend summer vacations with us. That is until my mother died two years ago. My father died when Anna and I were 7. It was just us and Esther. I noticed Punzie was staring at me and I realized I got lost in thought. I took a deep breath and looked at her.

"Look I don't want things to be awkward between us. After all I will be living here for a while so can we just go back to the way we were? Before everything happened?" I said. Her face brightened up and she nodded.

"Sure we can do that Elsie." I smirked as she called me Elsie.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked and ran my fingers through my hair. It was down so it ran down my back in long waves.

"I was actually going to ask you if you wanted to join me and my friends at Starbucks." She did the exact same thing I did with my hair to hers. Sometimes I think she and I are more alike than me and Anna ever will be.

"I would love to." I smiled at her and got up to get my black snowflake bag.

"Great! Let's go!" She walked out of the room and I followed behind closing the door. When we got outside we walked around the block to Starbucks. It was pretty outside. Cherry blossom trees lined the streets and made the day look beautifully exquisite. We walked inside Starbucks and Punzie walked to a table with a few people sitting there. She motioned for me to come so I stood beside her and she introduced me to them.

"Elsie this is Hiccup, Merida, Eugene and- oh he's not here?"

"He said he had something to do so he wouldn't be able to make it." said the boy with brown shaggy hair and brown eyes who I think is Hiccup.

"Why do ye always invite him if he's just going to bail on ye every time?" a girl with red curly hair and blue eyes said. Merida. That's her name. Wow she has a strong Scottish accent.

"Because he's my best friend that's why!" Punzie said.

"Woah chill babe. Merida's just joking right Merida?" a guy with hazelnut hair and green eyes said. Wait. Did he just call her babe?!?

"Uh right. I was just joking Punzie." Merida said with an eye roll.

"Anyways, Punzie is this your new friend?" Hiccup asked looking at me.

"Oh no this is my cousin Elsie Winters- Arendelle." She said holding my arm.

"Uh actually it's Elsa Snowdon and hi nice to meet you guys." I said giving them a little wave.

"I thought your last name was Winters-Arendelle?" She gabe a confused look.

"It is. I just changed it to Snowdon."

"Why?"

"I'll tell you later." I said and then sat down. She just nodded and sat down next to Eugene. Merida and Hiccup were playing thumb war and Eugene started playing with Punzie's hair.

"So are you guys dating?" I asked.

"Yeah we are. Hiccup and I have been dating for three years now and Eugene and Punzie have been dating for...how long have ye guys been dating exactly?" Merida said.

"We've been dating for two years now." Said Eugene.

"Oh that's nice." I said and got up to go order a Caramel Machiato Frappuccino and a chocolate muffin. When I got my order I went back to the group and sat down.

"So what school are ye going to Elsa?" Merida asked me.

"Um I don't know yet. Aunt Primrose hasn't told me yet."

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you. You're going to London Burgess Academy with me and Eugene." Punzie said.

"Ok." I smiled at her.

"Where do you guys go?" I asked Hiccup and Merida.

"We go to Stratford High but we're on the waiting list for LBA." Hiccup said

I nodded and then we continued talking about school and our hobbies.

We got home around 9 so I said goodnight to Punzie and Aunt Primrose and went up to my room. I changed into my pj's and went to bed.
