Before you begin reading, I'm thinking of changing the book name and cover. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I feel like the name is used too much with Kellin Quinn and Vic Fuentes fanfics. Again, please let me know if you have any ideas either through PM or my email: martylosald@gmail.com. Thanks so much. Now enjoy the story.

(Strange Things Will Happen by The Radio Dept.)Narrator-
"Just tell me what you want!" She screamed. He couldn't think, couldn't feel. Not even the cold rain could bring him out of the haze he was slowly falling into. He couldn't believe this was happening to him. He had just found her, had just fallen in love with her and here she was, looking at him with disgust. He fell down to his knees and stared at the ground, the rain still pouring down hard onto them both.
"You." He said after a moment's hesitation. He heard her suck in her breath, heard her take the few steps closer to him and kneel down in front of him. She grabbed his face and brought it closer to hers, he didn't hesitate in closing the distance and smashing his lips against hers. She immediately responded, running her hands through his hair. He brought her closer to him by grabbing her waist and pressing her against him.
After a few seconds she pulled back. She looked at him with those beautiful blue eyes of hers and shook her head. "I can't do this." She let go of him and got up, quicker than the speed of light. He got up as well and grabbed her arm before she could run away from him. "Why? Just tell me why you won't stay." He asked, needing to know why she was abandoning him.
"Because I'm dead Hans! I don't get a happily ever after. Can't you see that? You're better off without me." She said and snatched her arm out of his grasp. He grabbed her arm again and fell on his knees again, holding her hand.
"Please Mavis. Don't do this to me. I would die without you. Can't you see that? You are my reason for living. Please stay Mavis. Please, I beg of you." He pleaded looking up at her and seeing her fighting off tears. She took her hand away and stepped back again. She shook her head and said, "No. I'm sorry Hans. I just can't."
With that, she was gone. Hans stared after her even after she was gone. His sole purpose for living was gone. He could feel himself dying on the inside and there was no other way he would ever feel alive again. He was dead. Forever dead.
Hans woke up with a start and looked over to his side. Mavis slept soundly next to him and he sighed, relieved that it was just a dream. He checked his watch and it said 5:04 am. He put his watch down on the side table and turned on his side to face Mavis. How did he ever get so lucky? He felt his heart do a little flip and he realized that he hadn't felt this way since he first met Anna. He thought about the dream and it's disturbing affect it left on me.
"Because I'm dead Hans!" That kept playing in his head over and over again. What did it mean? He didn't realize how lost in thought he was until Mavis began stirring beside him. He snapped out of it just in time to see her beautiful blue eyes staring at him. She smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Good morning." He said and she stretched before saying, "Good morning. What time is it?" He turned to grab his watch again and looked at it. 6:55 am. Has it really been that long since he woke up? "It's 6:55." He said and she sat up.
"Do you mind coming with me to my room? I don't want to have to deal with Justin." She asked him and he sat up as well. He nodded and got up to change and freshen up. He didn't take long as he changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. He slipped on his black Vans and waited as Mavis put on her shoes and grabbed her bag and key card.
They walked out hand in hand and down to the other side of the hall. When they got to her room, Justin was nowhere to be found so Mavis quickly went in to change. Hans wondered what Justin could've done to make Mavis want to avoid him. He would have to ask her when he knew her a little bit better. If she wanted to avoid him then why didn't she change rooms? That was when he got the idea.
Mavis came out of her room wearing a black crop top with black skinny jeans and black Vans. Her black hair was up in a messy bun and her face was clean of makeup. She couldn't have looked more beautiful. He cleared his throat and grabbed her hand.
"Mavis, I was wondering." He looked at her and she had a curious look on her face. "What were you wondering about?" She asked. He took a deep breath and began. "Well, it's pretty obvious you no longer have feelings for Justin but he doesn't seem to get that. At first I thought about how you could just change rooms but I realized something else. An idea actually."
She was waiting for him to continue and he found it hard to. Suppose she thought him a perv? Then where would they end up? Mavis gave his hand a squeeze and he took a deep breath. "How about you move into my room with me?" He asked cautiously and stared at the ground. She grabbed his chin and lifted his face. She smiled and said, "I think that is a great idea."
He smiled and they went back into her room to get ready for the move. He couldn't believe he had met this pale, dark-haired, blue eyed girl named Mavis. But the one thing he couldn't believe was how fast he had fallen in love with her.
