Jack-
It was a sunny day. I was in the meadows (Think of twilight) near my house. What was I doing here? Then I heard a beautiful soft voice. Elsie. She was walking around and singing. Her hair was down and she was wearing a black flowy dress that reached to the ground. I couldn't understand the words because she was singing softly. I walked to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and hugged her from behind and rested my chin on her shoulder.

'I'll never be your mother's favorite. Your father can't even look me in the eye.'

Her voice was so beautiful, but I couldn't understand why she was singing the song. Everytime she sang, it had meaning to it. What was the meaning behind this song?

'Oh they're just afraid of something they can't understand. But little darling watch me change their minds.'

She turned around in my arms and hooked her arms around my neck. She continued singing softly and then the scene changed.

I was standing outside in the snow. It was dark and cold. I was wearing a blue hoodie, brown pants and holding a staff. My feet were bare but surprisingly I wasn't cold. I looked around and a house was in front of me. Elsie's voice reached out to me. She was still singing, but the song was different.

'Deep in the meadow, under the willow. A bed of grass, a soft green pillow.'

She passed the window on the second floor. She was carrying a bundle in her arms. I wanted to get a closer look and soon I was on the ledge of the window. She was carrying a baby in her arms.

'Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes. And when they open again, the sun will rise.'

She sat down on a rocking chair and rocked back and forth. The door opened and a man came in. He had black hair and blue eyes. He smiled at her and walked over and kissed her. Why would he kiss her? She smiled and got up and layed the baby down in the crib.

'Here it's safe, here it's warm. Here the daisies guard you from every harm. Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true. Here is the place where I love you.'

With that she kissed the baby and walked hand in hand with the man. A glint made me notice two rings on her left finger. She's married? But what happened to us? As soon as that thought crossed my mind, the scene changed again.

It was raining and I was in a cemetery. Elsie was in a black dress with black shoes and black gloves. Her face was depressed and tears were falling out of her eyes. The coffin was being dropped down. I noticed that my mother and Kat were there.

Primrose, Punzie, Hiccup, Merida, Eugene, and even my father were there. What's going on? I looked at the grave stone and my heart stopped. This is my funeral.

The grave stone read:

I'm dead? No. I can't be dead. I backed up and bumped into something. I turned around and saw Pitch Black, the Guardian of Death. He smiled and lifted his scythe. He brought it down hard and everything went dark.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" I screamed as I sat up. I looked around me and I realized I was still in the hospital room. The door opened and I expected Elsie to come in but instead Kat walked in. She sat down on the bed next to me. "Are you okay Jack?" She asked while grabbing my hand. I sighed and smiled weakly, "Yeah Kat. I'm fine. Just a bad dream is all. Where's Elsie?"

"Elsie's here. In the hospital." She said looking down with sad eyes. "Great. I want to see her. Tell her to come in." Kat sighed and got up. She smiled sadly and said, "You can't see her Jack." I was confused. Did I do something? Is she mad at me? Did something happen to her? With that, I looked up and asked, "Did something happen to her?" Kat sighed and walked away. At the door she paused and looked at me over her shoulder.

"It's better to let Punzie tell you." Then she opened the door and left. Punzie came in a few minutes later and she looked horrible. Her eyes were red and puffy and her hair was in a messy french braid with strands coming out of it. She sat down on the chair and smiled at me. "Hi Jack." I didn't hesitate to get to the point.

"Where's Elsie? What happened?" I asked. She took a deep shakey breath and said, "I'm so sorry Jack. Elsie collapsed two hours after seeing you. The doctors proclaimed her to be in a coma. She hit her head pretty hard after she collapsed. I'm s-so s-sorry Jack."

I swear my heart stopped beating. Elsie's in a coma? No. She can't be. It's not true. Punzie's lying. "Don't play games with me Punzie." I said. Obviously she and Snowflake are joking with me. It's a joke. Haha very funny.........

Punzie-

"Don't play games with me Punzie." Jack said. I stopped crying and looked up at him. I was shocked that he would even think that I would joke about something very serious like this. I got up and leaned over the bed to look him in the eye.

"I'm gonna say something to you Frost and you better listen." I said giving him my death glare. He swallowed hard and nodded. "I'm not joking, I'm not acting, I'm serious. Elsie is in a coma. I would never joke about something as serious as life-threatening conditions. Ever." With that I leaned back and sat back down. I saw tears forming in Jack's eyes.

"No." He said softly. "No. No. NO! NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! SHE CAN'T BE IN A COMA! SHE CAN'T!!" I tried to calm him but it didn't work. Eventually, he was walking to the door and before he could open it, I tackled him. He tried pushing me off but I pinned him to the ground. He started crying and I hugged him. He sobbed, heavy ugly sobs and soon I was crying too.

How could we not? The person we loved the most is in a coma. My sister/cousin and his girlfriend was fighting for her life and there was nothing we could do but sit here and wait. Please God. Help Elsie fight against this. Help her come home to us. Pleasr. I beg of you. Please.

If anythimg happened to my sister Elsie, I would die on the inside. Jack would take it the worst. He'd blame himself for not being there for her and I couldn't, wouldn't let him do that to himself. We will wait and see how she gets through this. Elsie is a fighter and she will get through this. I hope.....

-----3 weeks later-----

Elsie-

My eyes felt heavy as I struggled to wake up. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. White hair caught my eyes next to me. Jack was sleeping while holding my hand on the side of the bed. I squeezed his hand softly and he woke up. His beautiful blue eyes looked at me with surprise and they started to water. He got up and leaned over. Our lips met and it was like heaven. I tasted salt and I realized that we were both crying.

We let go for air and he hugged me. I lifted my free arm, since the other one was strapped to the side with I.V's, and ran my hand through his hair. He lifted his head and smiled weakly and said, "I missed you Snowflake. I was worried about you and now your back. Oh you don't know how much I missed you." He gave me pecks all over my face and I smiled.

"Jeez, you act as if I have been gone for years." He stopped and looked at me seriously. "It felt like eternity without you by my side." He said and my eyesight was blurry from the tears. I touched his cheek and smiled. "Forever." I said. He smiled and said, "Forever."

We kissed and I fell in love all over again. It felt like we were in a movie and if I'd been the director, I would've frozen us like this. Happy in this moment. Free from worries and the horrors of the world. Just us and nothing could hurt us in our world.

But that's just not the truth.........
