Chapter 8- True Feelings

Elsie-

I woke up and felt arms around me. I turned my head slightly and saw white hair and blue eyes watching me. I smiled and turned around completely so that I was facing him. I noticed he wasn't wearing his sweater or his shirt.

"Why aren't you wearing a shirt? Or your sweater?" I asked.

"Well you were shivering last night so I decided to give you my sweater. And goodmorning to you too snowflake." He said while giving me a lazy smile. He still had his arms wrapped around me. I put my hand on his chest and felt somthing cold form underneath it. I looked to see frost covering my hand and the place where I was touching him.

What is this? This can't be me. Could it? Just then I felt him pull me closer and I looked up to see he had fallen asleep again. I looked down at his chest and saw that the frost was gone. Great. Isn't it bad enough that I have my transformations to control? I'll explain that to you later. I wondered how we got here in the first place, but then I remembered everything from yesterday. Or was it today? Ugh I'm so confused.

His hand moved up from my hip to my waist. I felt my cheeks getting hot. Oh boy. I think that I like him. Just then he inhaled deeply and then kissed my forehead. He exhaled and brought his face closer to mine. He opened his eyes to reveal those beautiful dark blue icy eyes. I could stare into them forever. He looked down at my lips then bit his. His hand moved up and soon he was cupping my face. He brushed his thumb over my cheek and I winced. I think my cheek is bruised.

"Sorry." He said in a low husky voice. Then he leaned in and soon our lips were touching. His lips were warm and sweet and tasted like honey. His tongue licked my lips begging for entrance and I opened my lips. His tongue went in and started exploring my mouth and fighting with mine. I felt his hand grip my hip and soon he was on top of me. I moved my head a little and the kiss deepened. I ran my fingers through his silky hair and down his chest. Oh God. It's true.

I'm in love with Jack Frost.

Jack-

I can't believe it. I'm actually kissing her. As she ran her fingers through my hair and down my chest, I knew that I had to stop before things went too far. I groaned and broke the kiss. She opened her eyes- those beautiful icy blue eyes of hers and I was entranced by her once again. I stared at her wondering how in the hell did a guy like me get a girl like her? Simple. We were meant to be.

I layed down next to her and she turned to face me. I did the same and wrapped my arms around her. I pulled her in close and rested my chin on her head. I looked at the clock and it said 6:30 am. We slept all afternoon and all night. Thank God today is Saturday. My mother and sister are probably worried sick about me. I had to get home before my mom called the police, if she hasn't already. But I didn't want to leave Elsie. Maybe she could come with me. Yeah that sounded like a good idea.

"Elsie?" I said.

"Mmm yes Jack?" She said as she started drawing little circles on my chest.

"How would you feel like coming home with me today?" I said looking down at her. She looked up at me and smiled.

"I would love to Jack." I smiled and kissed her forehead. I then let go of her and sat up. I grabbed my shoes and started putting them on when I felt something hit my back. I turned to see my sweater behind me. I looked up and saw Elsie going into the bathroom.(a/n: the picture above is like what's going on here except Elsie isn't naked underneath the sweater. She's wearing the clothes from the day before so don't get any wrong ideas. :))

I smiled and finished putting on my shoes. I grabbed my sweater and put it on. It even smelled like her. I got up and followed her to the bathroom where I found her brushing her teeth.

"Got an extra toothbrush?" She pointed to the wall behind her and I opened it to see tons of extra supplies. I grabbed a blue toothbrush and closed it. I stood beside her and put tooth paste on my toothbrush and started brushing my teeth.

When we were done, Elsie went into her walk-in closet and came out a couple minutes later wearing a black skirt that went down to mid-thigh, a black lace tank top, a black leather  jacket and some black high heeled ankle boots. Her blue snowflake necklace rested on her chest and her hair was down with only a snowflake clip holding back her bangs.

"You look beautiful." I said while walking towards her. I got to her and wrapped my arms around her waist. Even with her heels she was still shorter than me by at least 5 inches. Well considering I'm 5'11".

"Thank you. Do you think this is appropriate?" She said looking down at herself. I smiled at how nervous she was.

"Of course it is. Come on let's go." I said as I kissed her  forehead. I grabbed her hand and we entwined our fingers and walked out of her room. Only to bump into Punzie.

Elsie-
Oh God I totally forgot about Punzie and Auntie. She looked at us with a confused look and then she looked down. Her face brightened and I realized she saw our entwined hands. She then started squealing. I quickly let go of Jack's hand.

"OH MY GOD!! JACK AND ELSIE TOGETHER!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. MY BEST FRIEND AND MY COUSIN ARE A COUPLE!!! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS!!" She said while jumping up and down. I facepalmed myself and I felt Jack chuckling. I felt Jack wrap his arm around my waist and then I heard his voice in my ear.

"Should we get going?" I looked up at him and nodded. I turned to Punzie who was still squealing and jumping.

"Punzie. Punzie. PUNZIE!!!" She stopped squealing and jumping. "Jack and I are going to his house. Can you please tell Auntie that I won't be back until later?"

"Sure absolutely Elsie." She said as she nodded. Then I sighed and Jack pulled me towards the front door. We walked out and then we walked down the path to the gate. He opened the gate for me and we walked down the side walk. I thought we were gonna take his car but he told me that we would walk.

"Why?" I asked stopping. He turned around and pointed to the black house with white trim next to my house.

"That's my house right there."

"I honestly thought you were my neighbor from like two or five doors down. I never thought you would be my next door neighbor." He laughed a rich, deep laugh.

"It's not funny. You're the one who drove his car to pick up his next door neighbor." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and pouted. He smiled and walked up to me. He pinched my cheek and kissed my nose.

"That's because we were going to school. And if you'd pay attention you would've seen us walking a bit to reach my car which was in front of my house." He said and then grabbed my hand and started leading us to his house. We walked up the pathway to his front door and he opened the door.

A maid came and greeted us. Then she left to search for Jack's mother as he instructed her to do so. He led me to the living room and we sat down on the couch. We talked about everything. Although we just met a couple of days ago, I felt like I've known him my entire life. He's like my other half.

I only hope he feels the same way about me.........
