Chapter 5

The next few days, sa condo ko na sya umuuwi, then it turns to months. Halos naghihiwalay lang kami 'pag nasa hospital na. Pero pupuntahan nya ako sa Pedia dept. kung kakain na kami. At bestfriend pala nya si doc Josh. Ang awkward nung nakita nya kami sa staff's room na kumakain. Pero after a minute inaasar na sya.

"Katherine, let's eat." He shouted. Lumabas naman ako ng kwarto ko.

"Tss. I told you it's Kath or Kace. Ikaw lang tumatawag nyan sa akin." I said then sit on the chair next to him.

"I let you call me Paulo and Xavier Paulo kahit ikaw lang naman tumatawag nun sa akin." He said smiling. I just rolled my eyes. Tapos kumain na ako.

"Paulo, let's stop using condom." I said randomly. Ang weird kasi lalo 'pag sa CR namin ginagawa habang niligo.

"Okay. But you'll get pregnant, considering we're doing it every off." He said.

"I bought a box of depo. Do my first shot later." I uttered.

"Okay. Are you sure?" He asked all concerned.

"Yeah. And weird sa CR e. Hatak ka kasi ng hatak." I mumbled. Tumawa lang naman sya.

"It will add some fat on you." He stated.

"Why, ayaw mo na 'pag tumaba ako?" Diretsong tanong ko. Bwisit na 'to palibhasa pati katawan pinagpala.

"Not that baby, of course you're still be fuckable in whatever shape. Go to gym with me." He insisted.

"Grabe ka. I go to gym with Zian." I mumbled.

"Tss. Why are you always together anyway. Diba fellow na yun." He said annoyed.

"Well, he's the only friend I got here. My bestfriends are all in Cali," I argued.

"Am I not your bestfriend now? I mean I know you from inside and out." He said wiggling his brow.

"Ang manyak." I whispered.

"Tss. As if, you don't scream with happiness when we do it. Dalian mo ng kumain. Let's do your shot." He said casually.

"Paulo, we can't do it later. Adik ka ba." I stated.

"Mukha bang sex lang habol ko sayo. Inaatok na din ako." He said annoyed. Bakit sya yung galit. Ako nga yung nageefort dito.

After naming kumain ay umupo lang ako sa couch at hinintay sya matapos maghugas. Sya halos gumagawa nung mga trabaho sa condo. Ang dami na rin nyang damit dito. Gusto nya sa condo nya kami, pero sabi ko ang daming taga SGH dun.

"Are you mad?" I asked when he's done with my shot. Minamasahe pa nya yung braso ko.

"No. I'm just tired. Let's sleep." He said then hold my hand. Nung nakahiga na kami ay nakatingin lang ako sa kanya. I'm pretty sure I love him already. Hindi ko naman gagawin 'to kung fubu ko lang sya.

"You're mad. Bati na tayo, Xavier Paulo." I  pleaded.

"I'm not. Just tired. Tulog na." He said then hugged me. I'm kissing his neck para lang pansinin nya ako.

"Baby, I'm not mad. I will never get mad at you. Please let's sleep my conference ako bukas." He murmured. I just nodded.

The next day, hindi sya gaanong nagsasalita. Impossible namang kinakabahan sya. He's smart. I watched all his return demo videos in medschool. Nakita ko yun nung hiniram ko yung laptop nya. Pero imbes na patulan ko sya inayos ko na lang yung dadalhin ko sa duty. Hinatid naman nya ako hanggang Pedia Dept. Ewan ko sa kanya, kaya ko naman pumasok ng mag-isa, pero hatid-sundo nya ako. Nakokonsensya nga ako kasi sa kabilang building pa sya.
