Epilogue 2

Everything went by so fast. Two years of being together, we knew each other so well. I top my exam like I promised her. I waited for her to finish hers, so we'll be both okay with our careers. I proposed to her. I started building our home. I expanded the business for her. I made everything about her. But she run away from me.

Her family was throwing me words. They kept saying I got Belinda pregnant, but what the fuck, I can't imagine sleeping with anyone other than Katherine. Sya lang yung gusto ko. Ang gulo ng lahat. Galit na galit rin si mommy. Ang dami kong inayos. I explained to her clan, but they don't believed me.

Weeks passed, I'm like a dead man. Hindi ako umuwi ng condo kasi andun lahat yung memories namin. Lalo lang akong nasasaktan. I moved to our home. Konti na nga lang tinatapos, iniwan pa nya ako.

"Look at yourself in the mirror. You look like shit." Gab said, then lie down beside me. I just looked at her. After nya humiga dumating naman si Trish at Yna. Humiga din sila sa tabi ko. If hindi kami kilala ng mga tao as best friend iba na iisipin nila.

"Pau, can you stop this madness? Tama na. I can't even recognize you." Trish commented. I just rolled my eyes. Bakit ba ang aga andito na naman sila.

"When was the last time you had sex with Katherine?" Yna asked. I looked at her with confusion. Pumunta lang ba sila dito para alamin yung sex life namin ng asawa ko dapat.

"Just answer. This might help you." She added.

"Two months ago, maybe. What is this all about?" I murmured.

"She might be pregnant. She forgot her shot." Yna stated. I looked at her intently.

"Seryoso ka ba? Shit. Fertile sya nun." I blurted. Tumawa pa sila.

"Tangina, alam na alam yung katawan ni Katherine, pero sched sa OR nya hindi." Gab said laughing.

"So what's our plan?" Trish interrupted.  Bumangon ako.

"I booked our flights already. We'll leave first thing tomorrow." Gab said.

"Kaya mo? Kakapanganak mo lang. Gino will get mad at you. Alam ba nyang andito ka? Galit na galit yung asawa mo sa akin." I muttered.

"He doesn't. I told him may aayusin ako sa SAH. Gago ka Pau. I'm lying to my husband." She said.

"He's my husband, yes. But you're my best friend, you will always got my loyalty. Just promise me my marriage won't fail because of this." She added. I just nodded.

"I already told Marco na aalis tayo bukas. Andyan na yung mga luggage namin. Pack yours." Yna said. I looked at Trish.

"Of course I'll go with you guys. Miggy is my ride or die and so are you. I got your back, regardless." She said. Binato lang nila ako ng unan nung naiiyak na ako.

"Marco already got Belinda in custody. Pa-DNA natin yung bata pagkalabas. I already hired someone to track your whereabouts for two months. No lapses. Including Belinda's." Gab said when we were eating.

"Thank you. I appreciate it." I murmured.

"You better make her come home. Patay ako kay Gino na tinutulungan kita." Gab said then sighed.

"But I trust you, okay? So let's make everything right." She continued. I just hugged her. Swerte ako na sila yung mga kabarkada ko. They got my back.

"Kung hindi buntis si Belinda nasapak ko na yun ng todo. Naiinis pa rin ako sayo Pau. Ang tanga mo. Sana hinagisan mo na lang ng pera. Kung ako si Katherine iiwan din kita e." Trish uttered.
