Chapter 13

After naming kumain ay naligo na kami. Mabilis lang kami, kasi traffic na naman sigurado. Pero nung nagpapalit na kami, I kept asking him questions about his friends, para lang may alam ako.

"Saan natin susunduin si ate Gab?" I asked while we were walking in the hallway.

"Dito. Two floors below." He answered then pressed on the elevator.

"Won't you buzz?" I asked. He just laughed and put the code. Grabe alam nila yung code ng isa't-isa. Kasi nakapasok naman agad si ate Gab kanina sa unit nya.

"How'd you know her code?" I asked curiously. Pero hinila nya ako papasok.

"We know each other's code. It's her birthday and her anniversary with your cousin." He answered then went to the kitchen to get me a glass of water.

"Gabriellaaaaa. Dalian mo." He shouted then sit beside me, he rested his head on my shoulder and closed his eyes.

"Hold my hand later if they start asking question. Omit the one night stand." I murmured.

"Of course. I don't broadcast my sex life." He whispered. Lumabas naman na si ate Gab. She wore a simple black body-fitted dress pero ang ganda nya.

"Let's go." She said then dragged my hand. Natawa pa si Paulo at napa-iling na lang.

"Did you talk with our accountant?" Ate Gab asked nung nakalabas na yung kotse sa parking.

"Yes, she said kaya ng apat. But I told her we'll discuss first." Paulo answered.

"How's your business with Clark and Gino?" He asked further. What the fuck ilan ba yung business nila. Ang normal ng usapan nila.

"Doing good. I let my accountant talk with Clark and Gino. Ang hirap ng my business kasama yung jowa. Tss. Kung alam ko lang hindi ako umoo." She replied.

"Why is there something wrong?" He asked all concerned. Ang sweet naman nyang best friend. Kung hindi ko alam na girlfriend sya ni kuya Gino baka nag-selos na ako.

"Wala naman. It's just weird when money is involved." She murmured. Gets ko sya, feeling ko mahirap talaga yun. Sana kung mag-asawa na kayo. Nung nakarating kami ng Taguig biglang umulan.

"Pau, diba 'pag maaraw tapos umulan bigla may kinakasal na tikbalang?" She asked randomly. Parehas pa kami tumingin sa salamin ni Paulo.

"Sana all kinakasal." She mumbled. Nagpipigil ako ng tawa baka ma-offend sya, pero si Paulo parang mamamatay na sa tawa.

"Bakit gusto mo na ba ate?!" I asked curiously.

"I don't know. Pero naiinggit na ako sa mga classmate namin sa med." She answered.

"Ano ba requirements ng pinsan mo, tanungin mo at gawin ko na," she continued.

Paulo sighed. "Why you're so curious all of a sudden? Akala ko ba tatapusin mo TCVS na Dela Cruz surname mo. Tss. What's the difference with marriage? Ano ba hindi mo nagagawa." Tuloy-tuloy na sabi ni Paulo.

"Sex." Ate Gab blurted. Naubo pa ako. Tangina sa tagal nila rated PG pa rin sila.

"See, yung reaction nyo. So ginagawa nyo. Tangina nya, ano plano nya. Kulang na lang pikutin ko na sya." Inis na sabi nya.

"Maybe he's waiting for marriage." I commented. Pero kahit ako medyo nailang.

"Tss. Baka nga mauna pa kayo." She uttered. Halata sa kanya yung gusto na nya. Syempre nasa thirties na sya. Tapos since med school sila naman, nagbreak lang pero nagbalikan naman sila. Ano kaya plano kasi ni kuya.
