Sunday morning, the sky is all grey and dreadful... making it dark and deppressing.

but I'm still hoping that Kai's not dead... that he will just suddenly show up again no matter where... no matter if it is in front of me or behind me... just let him pop out again, and take me somewhere nice once.... again...

Kai's been a good friend for the shortest time, why he was instantly taken away from me? Was that a trial subscription? Didn't I deserve someone that will take care of me? That will let me eat healthy and delicious just because they noticed that I'm getting skinny and weak?

I took a deep breath, which the musky, fresh, and pleasant smell of the rain filled my nostrils.

Something that helped me calmed down a bit since I love rain... but it's a different feeling this time.

It's full of emptyness, grief, sadness, and loneliness...

I stood up from my bed, and filled my cup a hot water and a tea bag.

Yesterday's meeting was postponed due to the news that we just heard, my step dad was so concerned about his partners and doesn't want them to cause any stress and fear since the company been at it's highest peak, and a lot of competitors were keeping their eyes on us... which gave them a thought that maybe they will start getting rid of them one by one.

In which they also have a theory that they targeted Kai first, since he's the best of them all.

How I wish that they just ended everything with that old dirty step dad who owns this shitty company.

I took a sip from my warm cup of tea as I watch the rain pouring down. Suddenly, I heard my entrance door being opened which I quickly took my tiny knife just in case that old man comes in to play with my body again.

I ain't gonna let you touch anything of me ever again...

I stayed silent behind my rack, next to my bedroom door. I even control my breathing just to avoid making any sounds, but I'm starting to feel shaky.

I heard the slow footsteps going nearer until my door got crack opened, "Miss Jennie...." A familiar voice whispered, calling for my name.

I stayed silent still trying to figure out who might it be.

"Miss Jennie....!~" He shouted in whisper, "Are you here?" He continued whispering and stayed silent for about 15 seconds before he finally decided to close the door.

But before he can shut it closed, I immediately held the door knob to stop it, "M--Mr. Choi?" I said without seeing him.

The guy quickly opened the door widely again, wearing a black cap, black mask and a black leather jacket paired with black jeans and shoes.

"Miss Jennie!" He shouted in happiness from seeing those smiley eyes.

"Mr. Choi!!" I jumped in excitement before I approached him for a hug, "Mr. Choi! ....." then a tear quickly fell down after realizing someone I know... and an important person who gives so much importance to my family.

"I'm glad you are safe..." He said as he softly caress my back.

I slowly let go from his warm hug, "I'm glad that you are too...." I widely smiled before I realized, "How did you get in?"

He took off his mask and closes the door, "Miss. Jennie.... I was so worried! and gladly, you haven't removed my access in here..." He said worriedly as he held both of my hands, "I thought something happened to you!"

"W-Why? Did you heard about--"

He cuts me off, "Y-Yeah.. that's why I did everything to get in here without getting noticed just to make sure you're okay... I won't ever forgive myself if something bad happens to you..."

I chuckled, "Mr. Choi! Nothing's gonna happen to me... I'm doing just fine!" I said to make him not worry, "Just go back and keep my sister safe, also the company... okay?" I said confidently, trying my best not to get caught from all the lies, "I would rather want you all safe, than me... please always be careful." I added.

"No, Miss Jennie... and you know the reason why I won't let anything bad happen to you... even if that's a mosquito bites or ant bites..." He jokingly said but I can still see that he's really worried and concerned.

I held both of his shoulder to make him stare straight into my eyes, "I'm telling you the truth.... I'm.doing.just.fine...." I smiled which he smiled back, seems like I made him believe, "Just keep the promise that you'll take care of my sister and the company... And I'll take care of everything here." I smiled widely this time before I let go of his shoulder, "Now, go back... don't let anyone caught you... okay?"

He nodded as he put back his mask on, "If anything happens......" he shook his head, "N-No... it should be not just when anything happens... Just tell me right away if something makes you feel that something's off... don't wait for that something to happen... okay? We're not gonna let anything bad happen to you, your sister and the company..."

"I have my full trust in you Mr. Choi." I smiled.... just being grateful for seeing him again, "Now, go! Be careful around!" I said as I escourted him out my condo.

I locked the door once he got out and deeply sighed, "I'm not okay Mr. Choi...." I said to myself as I slowly sat down on the floor, losing all my fake energy just to avoid him from worrying about everything, "Just keep my sister safe... I can still endure all the pain.." I shed in tears laying down behind my door.
