Mal pov:
We were still hiding. Evertown was coming. Just a little while and we'd be caught.
Sean looked really straight-faced at Zed.
"If you hurt Skye even once, I'll come after you!"
Then he gave his watch to Zed and wanted to run away.
I grabbed his arm.
"Are you crazy?"
"No, but I know how much you two mean to Skye and Harry. Go help them."
He pulled away and ran off as a distraction.

A few seconds passed as we heard a bang and I looked at Zed in shock.
"It doesn't necessarily have to be Sean... Right?"
Zed stared at the direction where Sean ran.
"Zed?"
"We have to help Skye and Harry. No..."

Bewildered, we quickly walked to the door. This time it was a metal door and of course it was locked.
"If my magic just worked here."
I looked angrily at the door.
"I'm done hopin' , now you're open!"
But it didn't work.
"Stupid Rotten World!"
"Umm... Mal?"
"What?"
"The key is literally in the lock."
"Oh..."

Zed pov:
Mal and I opened the door.
"Skye!" I said relieved.
"Harry!" Mal said on the same way.
I looked at Skye briefly and gloomily.
"What is it?" she asked.
"This..." and I handed her that stupid watch of Sean.
"It belongs to Sean... I gave it to him myself... Is he...?"
"He distracted Evertown so we could help you. Then a gun shot rang out..."
Skye put it in her bag with all the other items from the dead.
"Here, we'll have everything together..."
And Mal added Evie's diadem too.
"Mal, Evie... She's still there..."
And Harry pointed to the other side of the room.
For a moment, Mal seemed to have a mental breakdown and knelt beside her best friend.
"You managed to make it ironic again, E. Daughter of the poison queen dies of poison..."
Harry walked over to her.
"We have to get out of here now."
"What about Evie and Sean then?"
"We can take Evie with us but we don't know where Sean is."
"We can't take any risks." Skye said stiffly.
Harry lifted Evie with ease and we wanted to leave.
But suddenly we heard three voices.
"Let me go!"
"What do you want from us?"
"I swear I will curse you!"
Skye looked at me.
"I heard Danielle."
"And Uma would be the only one with curses." Mal said.
"Addison..." was all I could get out.
"Skye, Harry, you go back to the others and get backup. Evertown is up to something." Mal said angrily.
They nodded and left.
I looked at Mal.
"We have to hurry."

After Skye and Harry left with Evie, Mal and I walked over to where the other three girls were screaming.
"Three rooms, three girls, two of us. Now what?"
I looked at Mal questioningly.
"First Uma, then she can help us." "Okay..."
It was clear who was where, Uma most security. Mal would help her and I would help Addison.
But of course I had another door and Danielle looked at me.
"Zed!" she was tied to a chair and I wanted to walk over to her.
Beginnersmistake. One of the tiles was a push button and I got stuck in a net.
"Crap..."
"Smooth, Zed..."
"Should I help or not?" I said irritated.
She chuckled. "
Maybe if I help you first."
"How do you want to do that?"
She could barely reach her pocket with her hand and pulled something out.
"Here!" She threw some kind of auction thing at me and I caught it.
"Maybe you can cut the ropes with that."
"Then why didn't you do that to yourself?"
"I can't bend my wrists that far."
But it did work.
I got free and I was able to untie Danielle's ropes.
Those knots weren't that tight.
"Now we have to help the rest."
She nodded and we spun out of the room.
Uma, Mal and Addison were already there.
"Finally." said Uma sarcastically.
"We have to get out of here!" I sissed.

Skye pov:
"Okay, I have to ask." Harry said after walking for a while.
We were far from being back with the rest of the group in the hotel.
"What?" I responded absently.
"What was the deal about you and Sean then?"
"He was my ex. He left at that time to win a mountain bike race with his other ex and after a year of touring he came back. I broke up with him before he left and he wanted me back."
"That's why he argued so often with Zed..."
"Yeah... But don't say anything about the other one."
"I promised already."
"I'm just saying."
"Even among villains, promises still have value."
"You're not that villainous though."
"That's right. A lot of villains gave up evil when we were allowed off the prison island."
"Sounds logical."
"Look, we're almost there. Then we can help the others who are still in the meteor."
I nodded and we sprinted the last part.

Evertown pov:
I saw that the group of five wanted to flee.
But I locked the doors and looked at them.
"You won't get away so soon."
A door was still open and Zed looked over.
"Girls come on!"
Uma, Mal and Danielle wanted to follow him. But Danielle stopped.
"Addison come on!"
But she was nailed to the ground.
"Addison!" Danielle said again.
I aimed my gun at Addison and chuckled.
Danielle pushed Addison toward the exit and the last door slammed shut.
The rest were now separated from Danielle.
I chuckled.
"Bye Bye!" And I shot her.
She fell to the ground with a hole in her forehead and blood was dripping out.

Moments later, one of my slaves arrived.
"Sir, Sean Matthews is still alive."
"What? I shot him, didn't I?"
"Yes, in his shoulder. Are you going to kill him now?"
"Where is he?"
"Stuck to a metal chair with clamps on his wrists and ankles."
"In that case, I'll make sure the others kill him."
My slave looked at me in surprise.
"What do you mean?"
"Where's Serum 3-16?"
"It's still in room 7-12."
"Take it to the room where Sean Matthews is. I'll be there too."
"Yes sir."

A moment later I was standing in the doorway and Sean looked at me dazed.
"Can't you just kill me?"
"No, that's too simple."
"Huh?"
"I'll make sure one of the others kills you."
Sean didn't seem to get it and I picked up the vial of serum 3-16.
"This will give you a little extra strength. But it will also make you unpredictable. Hopefully you'll kill some of those other people."
Sean looked at it quite anxiously.
"What...?!" he muttered in astonishment and weakened.
"The most important thing for you to know is that you'll be back with the rest in no time."
Sean winced and I put the serum in a syringe. I grinned viciously as I squirted it into his arm and his eyes glowed red. That was a good sign
"You can't fight it. You will be free again. You just have to make sure you kill at least one person. Preferably more."
"I... don't... kill!"
"Not yet, no..."
After a while I dumped Sean by the lake. Then he would join the rest. After all, the others were already there Escaped.
