Once school was over I had the boys drop me off at the Camerons. I just needed to make sure he was okay and not causing chaos..per usual.
I was nervous before I knocked on the door. On the bright side at least all the Camerons I get along with were alive. I knocked on the door and Wheezie opened it.
"Hey Brinley!" She excitedly opened the door with a smile on her face. "Hey Wheez, how are you?" I gave her a small hug beforr stepping inside. "Im good. Rafe's upstairs I think." She tilted her head gesturing to the white staircase.
I walked slowly up the stairs unsure of what kind of mood Rafe was in. I heard two people talking that sounded like Rafe and Rose. I slowly walked into the room.
"Oh hey Brin! Your mom asked me to tell you to call her when you get a chance." She smiled at me. Since this summer began I wasn't too big of a fan of Rose. I've always thought she was up to no good and she isn't that good of a parent to her step kids.
"Rafe, I can't find the account numbers. They're not anywhere." She flipped through the pages in front of her. "The account numbers...uh I think it's Hank at Coastal. It should be." Rafe held his fingertips to his temple trying to think. "The swiss accounts, Rafe. The gold. Ward didn't leave anything behind. There's no record of it." Rose stated.
"Wait the gold? You expected Ward the guy who is the most selfish bastard to leave the gold behind for you?" I crossed my arms and laughed quietly. Rafe gave me a glare and I quickly lost my smirk. "I talked to the banks. I've searched the computer. There's nothing." Rose angrily told Rafe. "We don't know the bank, and there's no name on the account. What don't you get! There's no record of it." Rafe picked up the papers Rose was sorting through. "Alright, well I mean there's gotta be something." He softly responded. I was glad he was keeping his composure..for now at least. "We're gonna find the gold,okay? Alright? We'll find it. In the meantime, I mean we still have Cameron development. I'll step in. I'll do the job, alright? It's gonna be okay." Rafe calmly stood up beginning to walk away.
Rose stood up from her chair and frantically stuttered on her words. "Cameron development is in debt, the banks called in the loans. Hey, why do you think your dad was doing the things he was doing?" Rose whispered. "Hm gee I don't know, maybe because he's just psycho and wants to control the world?" I threw my hands in the air and plopped them at my sides. Rose as well as Rafe starred at me. Suddenly Rafe's voice got louder and he got panicked. "You're kidding. It cannot be that bad, alright?" Rose grabbed him by his shoulders. "We have one month to come up with $1.7 million dollars." My mouth dropped. Rafe's breathing increased and his chest was rising. "Rafe, calm down. Take a deep breath." I slowly walked towards him. "Hey, don't you freak out on me. Rafe." Rose was afraid. "Oh yeah cause that's gonna help him!" I gave her a disgusted look.
"FUCK!" Rafe screamed loudly then slammed his fist into the wall beside him. I held my hand to my chest and took a step back. He groaned with rage. "Let's go!" He grabbed my by my hand aggressively and he drug me to his room.
"Rafe just breathe okay? You'll be fine. It's their fault for not taking care of the development." I tried convincing him as he drug me to his room. "No it's not their fault! It's your damn pogue friends fault for even looking for the gold!" I backed up slowly to the wall in his room bumping into his dresser. "Rafe no. Rose and Ward are so full of themselves they don't know how to handle being rich! Leave them out of it!" I shouted back to him, I regretted raising my voice but I knew Rafe would never hurt me. He quickly walked towards me grabbing my hands and pinning them roughly above my head as he got in my face. "Stay out of it or you'll be the one paying for it." His jaw clenched at his words. The bitch in me just couldn't help myself. I smirked. "So make me pay."
His face quickly turned from anger to lust and at that moment I wanted him badly. He shoved everything off his dresser I was leaning against and sat me down on top of it. He stood between my legs caressing my body as we made he. He then began to start taking my top off revealing a lace bra underneath. He started kissing on my jaw all the way down to my neck. A soft moan escaped my lips as he sucked on my sensitive skin. I heard a knock on the door. Rafe covered my mouth with his hand and told me to hush. "Rafe is everything okay in there? I heard something fall." Rose question attempting to open the locked door. He cleared his throat choking on words. "We-we're all good."

I laid in his bed as he started to drift off to sleep. I sat up quickly remembering there was a bonfire tonight. "Shit. Rafe what time is it?" I jumped out of his bed putting my clothes back on. "Uh...7:30. Why?" He rubbed his eyes. "I have a bonfire to be at. I'll see you later." I picked my backpack up off the ground. "Seriously Brin? You're just gonna leave?" Rafe was upset with me but I promised the crew i'd be there. "I promised them. I'll see you later. I love you!" I kissed him goodbye and rushed to the bonfire.
