Pagkabasa ko ng text messages ay tinawagan ko agad si Ate Charms. On the third ring she answer my call.

"Hello, Fatima?" I can sense the sadness on her voice.

"Yes Ate Charms, this is me... W-what happened?" Di ko na mapigilan ang kabahan.

"This is about Ch-chanz..." then I hear her cry.

"I'll be there Ate Charms.. Everything will be alright." I assure her, I bid goodbye and ended our conversation. Agad naman akong nagbihis at kinuha ang susi ng kotse ko.

Habang pababa ako ay nakasalubong ko si Kuya Elton.

"Hey Little Sis, Where are you going?" He asked.

"St. Luke's Hospital, just inform mom and dad." His eyes widened and he's confused.

"Sinong nasa ho-hospital? Don't tell me si Vinn?"

"No. It's not Vinn, I don't know the whole story but it is about Chanz. I'll just text you. I better go." then I kissed him on his cheeks then I went straight on my car.

Habang nagmamaneho ay di ko maiwasan ang mapaisip... About our conversation.

I chose to listen to his explanation. We sat down and he started talking.

"Fatima I didn't left you because I found another woman b-but I left you beca-because.." He seems nervous...

"Tell me Chanz..." I looked at him directly on his eyes.

"I left you because I was diagnosed that I have a tumor in my brain..." he told me looking intently at me, I didn't say a word so he continued.

"I was hospitalized for months and undergo treatment for years, It happened so fast... I was confused at the same time depressed... I don't want you to be miserable so I chose to let you go." He held my hand and cupped my face.

"There is no other woman, It has been you all the time."

"Cha-chanz, You should have told me... Am I that useless to you? I can take care of you during that time but- but you chose to left me... Broken into pieces..." then I felt a tear escaped from my eyes.

"Mommy had her worst depression that we need to sign her up into a mental institution... But she's all well now. This is the reason why I didn't let you know because right there I know I'm a big mess. I can't drag you to that. I want you to have a peaceful and happy life."

"Tell me Chanz you came back because you're alright? Tell me.. You're okay..." I asked him, I can see the pain and sadness on his eyes. He then sat down properly and close his eyes.

"I'm still under medical treatment... I want my last days to be with you, that's why I came back."

Pagkadating ko sa hospital ay dumiretso agad ako sa room number na tinext sa akin ni Ate Charms.

While on my way to the elevator ay di ko inaasahan ang makikita ko. I saw them talking? or arguing? Why? Di pa ba sapat ang sakit na dinulot nila sa akin? Bakit kailangan pa nilang ipakita sa akin ng paulit ulit?

I chose to ignore them, naglakad ako.diretso sa elevator pero di ko maiwasan ang marinig ang kanilang pinag-uusapan.

"Marry me Vinn, Marry me."

I was stunned for a moment kaya di ko na maiwasan ang tignan sila. I saw Vinn looked at me. Napalitan ng pagkagulat ang kanyang itsura. Akmang hahabulin nya ako ng bigla akong pumasok sa elavator at sinarado ang pinto.
