Vinn's POV

*Wake up* *Wake up sleepyhead*

I reach for my phone and check the time it's already 7 in the morning. I open my eyes and close it again. This will be a long and tiring day for sure. I sat down and look in my room, It's been one year when I bought this unit and sold the old one and this will be the first time that I will be staying here dahil mas mabilis ang way na ito papunta sa main office ko.

Agad akong bumangon at ginawa ang mga dapat kong gawin. I am drinking my coffee when I receive a call from Alex, I answer it immediately.

"Hey" I greeted Alex

"Hey yourself... Ano di ka ba talaga sasama sa grand opening ng bakeshop ni Fatima? At para makita mo na rin kung saan madalas tatambay si Fatima." Pang-aasar nya pa sa akin sa kabilang linya.

"I'm sorry I can't alam mo naman na busy ako ngayon... Nagbabalak na naman na makipagdeal si Dad at wala pa akong idea kung kaninong company na naman ito." I walk toward the kitchen sink and put the empty mug.

"Oh come on dude! Alam kong nakamove on kana wag ka ng maginarteng bitter pa din.. sabi mo nga diba mukhang masaya na si Fatima dun sa lalaking nakita mo sa Paris at tsaka nagkwento narin sayo si Chanz na maayos naman ung lalaki at mapagkakatiwalaan kaya sumama kana para makita mo rin ng personal kung gaano sila kasweet" May tono pa ng pang-aasar si Alex sa mga huling sinabi nya.

"Dude I really can't maybe next time... pinagtatagpo naman na kami ng panahon e... Masyadong maliit ang Pilipinas para sa amin ni Fatima di na talaga namin maiiwasan ang isa't isa." Pagkokombinse ko kay Alex.

"Yea right... basta sinabihan kita ha? You know what? Di pa naman sila kasal e tapos ikaw bachelor pa? Kailan mo ba ipapaalam kay Fatima ang katotohanan sa likod ng paghihiwalay nyo?" I heave a deep breath before answering his question.

"Well I think it is not necessary... we both have our own lives and I'm happy that she finally found someone who can give all the things that I didn't do when she was with me." I told Alex sincerely

"Well kung yan talaga ang pinaniniwalaan mo bahala ka... But if I were you I will not give up lalo na kung alam kong wala naman talagang naging komplikasyon sa relasyon nyo... just sayin bro, sige na gotta go." I bid goodbye to Alex and fix my things.

While waiting for the elevator I felt my phone vibrating so I check it and saw Charlotte's name on the screen so I answer it.

"Hey Xan..."

"Thank God Vinn! It's about lorenz you better talk to him... he won't listen to us. Alam mo naman sa sayo lang takot itong bata na to..."

"What happened?" I asked Charlotte

"Well alam mo naman na malakas pagtripan ni Lorenz ung mga babysitter nya? And because of that he fell! Tumungtong sa kitchen desk and pinagtripan yung nagbabantay sa kanya. Oh my God Vinn I don't know what to do anymore... here talk to him." I heard Charlotte gave the phone to Lorenz.

"Honey?" I speak but there's no response.

"I know that you can hear me... what did you do this time?"

"I'm sorry, it won't happen again."

"Say sorry to your babysitter okay?" then the elevator door open and I saw her, smiling from ear to ear... Bigla syang napatingin sa akin di ko alam kung nagulat syang nagkita kami ulit at sa part ko din e nabigla ako dahil nandito sya sa building na to, I just smiled at her and inside the elevator I continue my conversation with Lorenz.

"We will meet today right?"

"...Ahh yes, yes honey..."

"I love you dad. Have a nice day I promise it won't happen again"
